“Well, we’re going to pick out our costumes for tonight with Madison.  Just come over in about an hour, we’ll all have dinner together.”  Kyla and her sister tried to bolt up the stairs but were stopped by Kasey’s voice.

“What do you mean you’re picking out our costumes!?”  The brunette was immensely nervous having Kyla pick out her Halloween costume. “Have faith will ya!”  And with that both girls pranced upstairs saying goodbye to Kasey’s father on their way out the front door.

Spencer had the same worry in her gaze when both girls locked eyes.  “Eh boy, I don’t trust them with this Spence.”  The blonde nodded in agreement but shrugged it off hoping it would turn out for the better.

“I should get home and let my mom  know I’m having dinner with you guys.”  Spencer stood, straightening herself out.

“I can give you a lift if you’d like. I’ll pick Aiden up at the same time.”  Kasey swiveled in her chair and made her way toward the blonde.  Spencer gladely accepted the ride and both were soon out the door and driving to Aiden’s.

”You’re letting them what??”  Aiden eyed Spencer hoping the blonde was joking as they gathered in her living room.
 

“They’re picking the costumes up now.  Just relax and have a little faith.”  Spencer tried to convince herself that nothing bad could come of this yet again.

“Dude that’s what I said!  Haven’t we embarrassed ourselves enough this week?”  Kasey whined, tumbling over backwards on the blonde’s couch with a huff.
 

“Suck it up will ya.”  Spencer added poking Kasey just as Paula walked in through the front door.
 

“Hi sweetie, how was your day at school?”  Her mother asked, placing her purse on the table.
 

“It was fine.  Uhm, by the way, I’m gonna get ready for tonight’s dance at Ashley’s.  Is that ok?”  Spencer’s eyes brightened in hopes that she would agree.  Paula nodded and quietly turned to Aiden.
 

“Take care of my little girl tonight.”  He grinned.  “Of course Mrs Carlin, no need to worry about Spencer when I’m around.”   He replied putting Paula at ease.  Spencer didn’t feel right telling her family, let alone her mother, that she was going to the dance with Ashley.  So she let them think this once that Aiden was taking her.
