    Realizing that family is all you truly need..

     

    “Wha…You…You were only supposed to be in today!”  Her voice rose in anger when she clued in to the fact that they were both nude.

     

    “I came in a day early to surprise you, what’s the big deal?”  He sat up.

     

    “The big deal!?  The big deal is that I dumped you Eric and you just show up on my doorstep and decide take advantage of me when I’m drunk!”  She shouted, slowly backing away.

     

    “Take advantage of you?  Please you wanted it, you didn’t put up any kind of fight last night.”  He remained still however his voice mounted with every syllable.

     

    “Bull shit!  You knew I was drunk and yet you used it your advantage!”  With every word that escaped her lips her head hurt more and more, the pounding became incessant and violent.

     

    “C’mon baby this is no big deal.  We both wanted it.”  He tried to convince her otherwise.

     

    “No Eric, you’re wrong.  I’m with someone and right now all I want is for you to leave…Now!”  She shouted pointed toward her door as she slipped into her jeans and wife beater.

     

    Eric’s cheeks swelled in anger, he clenched his teeth and wiped his moist palms on his cargos as he slid them on.  Pulling the t-shirt over his head he exhaled sharply.  “You’ve changed Ky.”

     

    “For the better I assure you.  Now out!”  She held the bedroom door open and followed him to the exit where he stepped out onto the veranda.

     

    “You’re mother sent me.  You do know that don’t you?  She wants you to come home for Christmas.  We thought you were coming here to meet your sister not stay and live with her.  Three years Kyla!  Three years ago you turned your back on us…We’re your family Ky.”  Eric tried his best to make the young girl feel guilty.

     

    “Mom doesn’t give two shits about me.  She sent me out here hoping I’d come back with some of Dad’s money.  And you are the furthest thing from family to me Eric, the furthest thing!  All I need is Ashley!  You’re nothing, absolutely nothing to me…now go!”  She spat, sick and tired of his attitude.

     

    In a moment of anger Eric gripped her shoulders and pinned the young brunette up against the brick home.  “Look Ky, I’m not going to say this twice.  The plane leaves tomorrow and you’re going to be on it.  Do I make myself absolutely clear?”  His nostrils flared.  She knew he had no qualms about hitting her; he had done it unremorsefully before during the course of their relationship.

    7. I’m glad that Kasey kicked Eric’s ass, but I’m still concerned with the fact that Kyla slept with Eric. Man, this is so going to screw up Kasey and Kyla’s relationship. You’re a wonderful writer and you always leave the reader wanting more. Great update…PMS
