    It’s time for Ashley’s baby

    After being In LabOr for almost four painful hours Spencer was finally able to giVE birth to a beautiful brown haired, brown eyed baby boy. Just like his Mother AshleY, WhIch happened to be the First to gEt her hands on him after she cut the cord and the doctors cleaned him off.

    “Spencer, he is so beautiful!”

    “Let me see our baby.”

    Spencer was completely out of it, but she wasn’t so exhausted that she didn’t want to see her baby. Ashley brought their beautiful baby boy over to see Spencer and her face immediately lit up with a look that only a new mother could make. Ashley gently placed him into his other mother’s arms and both girls couldn’t stop smiling. Ashley pushed back the damp hair that was sticking to Spencer’s face as she watched the two loves of her life interact.

    “Spence, have we finally settled on a name?”

    “Maybe. I always had a hard time picking the name, but now that I have him in my arms I just know what name he is supposed to have. If you like it that is.”

    “Lay it on me.”

    “Adrian Cadence Davies.”

    “Then that’s his name.”

    “You really like it?”

    “I love it. That is what we shall name our son.”

    Spencer was looking at her wife with so much love. Despite her pain and discomfort this was one of the happiest moments of her life. She wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything in the world. Ashley leaned down and kissed Spencer’s forehead as Spencer kissed her son’s.

    “I don’t want to give him up, but could you please hold him. I am so exhausted that I’m afraid I might pass out and drop him.”

    “You should sleep, love. You had a long day.”

    “I don’t want to sleep. I just want to look at our son. He’s so beautiful. Just like you.”

    Ashley waddled over to the nearest chair and sat down with her new baby. The only time she ever felt this kind of instant love was when she met Spencer. She loved her all along, but she wasn’t aware of it at first. Ashley never believed in love at first sight, but Spencer and Adrian did that to her.
