I knew this kid named Max

The crowd seemed to love her, because more and more people came to stand in front of the stage. Aiden wrapped an arm around my waist as we became surrounded with people. I know he was trying to be protective, but it made me a little uncomfortable.

Ashley finished up her next few songs and she sent Spencer off stage. Ashley was definitely a crowd pleaser. She seemed to pick the perfect playlist to get people out of their seats. Ashley started strumming a new song.

Ashley: "I learned this song especially for this one person who drives my heart crazy. In the best possible way I can assure you."

I looked around and a few couples began to slowly dance to the song. Aiden noticed it to because he turned to me and asked.

Aiden: "Would you like to dance?"
Kyla: " I…"

That’s when Spencer walked up to us from back stage. Just in time.

Kyla: "I wouldn’t want to leave Spencer all by herself."
Aiden: "That’s cool. We can just enjoy the song as is."

We didn’t Speak anymore. Just listened to the beautiful song Ashley was singing and playing for Spencer.

Spencer’s Pov

Ashley turned around to me and whispered in my ear to go find Kyla. I was confused as to why she didn’t need me on stage anymore, but I didn’t argue. I was a little nervous to be on stage as well, so I was glad to be getting off of it.
