Somewhere in Rome….

“I can’t believe we’ve only got a few more days together Spencer, do you really have to go back?”

“Awww you know I’d stay if I could babe” she said as she wrapped her arms around Hannah and gave her a quick kiss on the lips

“I’m really going to miss you, our time together has just gone too quickly for my liking” Hannah said as she began pouting

“You know I can’t resist that pout” Spencer said, giggling slightly at the cute look on her girlfriends face

Wait, is she my girlfriend? I mean it’s just a summer fling, I’m not going to see her again which is exactly why it worked so well?!  But she’s been so good to me, held me close when the nightmares came, made me forget even if only for a second…. What am I going to do when I have to go back to L.A, how am I going to bare facing Ashley again without her?? I’ve met so many people in Europe, but she was the one that stood out, she was the one I thought could help me get over the past, help me forget about Ash…. god I miss her so much, why did she do this to me? Why Ash, why did you break my heart when you told me you’d keep it safe?

“Spencer, did you hear me? Are you ok?”

“Huh, sorry I spaced out there for a second, what did you say H?”

“I asked if you wanted to go and see the Coliseum, I mean it is one of the main attractions of Rome after all?”

“Sure babe, I’d love to go I mean how can you resist a piece of history right?”

“Did you know that the Coliseum was finished in 80AD under the rule of Titus and could originally seat 45,000 to 50, 000 spectators?”

“Ummm no I didn’t, how in the hell did you?” Spencer asked, amazed at the knowledge Hannah had shown during their time together

“It remained in use for nearly 500 years and the last recorded game was held there as late as the 6^th century, well after the traditional date of the fall of Rome in 476”
