Who said life was easy?
"Carlisle my vision changed, and she came back, after feeling my skin and seeing what happened to Rosalie's engine. She came back. Isn't that like, some sort of sign?" Alice was talking to Carlisle.
"She seems pretty cool, plus she's not a completely normal person after all." Emmett added.
"We can't lie to her, don't you think she's going to ask the wrong question and know what we are?" I needed to get my point across that she can't be here.
"This is putting our family in some kind of risk. But when we tried to stop fate it caught up to us, and Alice doesn't see her as a vampire anymore." Carlisle always looked at the positive side of things.
"i kind of like her." Rosalie said walking into the dinning room with a plate of food for Nikki. Rosalie doesn't like anyone. I heard the music again, she was coming into the dinning room where we were with Esme. Her beauty, washes over me, so let us die and we'll dance the night away…. we're always searching. She was looking at me with interested eyes.
We sat around and talked for a good 2 hours. It was about 8:45 when they decided to get up and go outside. Carlisle and Esme stayed in because they were going to bed. Well, for the illusion they were, we don't sleep. Nikki followed Jasper and Rosalie outside with Emmett behind her and Alice locked in arm. I followed. I wanted her to run but she intrigued me so much I just went with them. We sat in the backyard in some left over chairs from the ceremony, with lights everywhere. It was nice, she didn't look as pale in the light, maybe she wouldn't notice how pale we are. They talked a bit about families. I listened as much as I could just finding more and more things out about her.
"So, yeah, it was fun, hahaha." Nikki said after telling us about a story of bridge jumping and one of her friends doing a ridiculous belly flop instead.
"Uh, how immature and stupid. You should really just go kill yourself now. I don't understand why idiots like you are allowed to exist." I said. I didn't mean one word of it. But if I pissed her off enough maybe she wouldn't want to come back, ever. Scaring her was out of the question, she was as weird as us in some ways.
