To Spashley With Love – (Chapter: Chapter Forty-Seven)

“What’s next?” I asked trying not to cry even more. It’s like there’s so many things against us. Are we done for good or are we still in the fight?

“There are many things against us, but it doesn’t mean you have to give up on us,” answered Ashley. I’m never going to give up. I made a promise and I’m a girl of my word.

“Ash, the police are going to call my Mom and then I’ll be back on the first plane back to Ohio,” I sighed. How is it going to work? I may not know much about relationships, but I know that long distance ones never work.

“There may be hope for you to stay in LA,” responded Ashley.

“How can there be hope?” I asked. I’m sure the cops will call my Mom and tell them their daughter is in good hands.

“I don’t know, but I’ll think of a way for us to stay together,” answered Ashley. I promise.

“Officer, please give those girls a break,” Kyla pleaded. They are in love and running away was the only way they could be together. What else were they supposed to do? Not to follow their own hearts?

“The blonde’s mother is worried about her,” sighed the officer. She thought that her daughter was in danger. Ashley and I returned.

“Worried?” I questioned in disbelief. She puts on quite a show, doesn’t she?

Awhile later, Ashley and I were at the police station. “I’m sorry for everything, babe,” I sighed.

“It’s not your fault,” responded Ashley.

“This may be the last time we may ever see each other,” I pointed out with a sad sigh.

“No, it won’t,” stated Ashley reassuringly.

“How do you know that?” I questioned. You’re going to want to live your own life and f-forget about me… about us.

“I know this isn’t the end for us,” began Ashley. It can’t be. I can’t live my life if you’re not in it. I won’t ever forget about you or what we’ve been through. My Mom walked towards us.

“Spencer Marie Carlin, do you have any idea how much trouble you are in, right now?” my Mom asked angrily. I nodded sadly and Ashley interlocked her fingers with my own for support. What did you think you were doing running off with this… this girl?
