Normally, she had at least one vision a day, not necessarily a bad one, it was just because she was so fine-tuned to the human that she saw pretty much everything she was going to do – if she didn't change her mind in the end. For the past six months though, after Bella awoke from her three-week coma, Alice hadn't seen a single thing concerning the girl. She knew she had made some decisions though, decisions Alice wasn't sure she would like knowing about.

There was no fear that Bella was doing Edward wrong, of course. Even Rosalie, who still didn't quite accept Bella, had to admit that the girl was madly in love with her “brother” and would never hurt him. But that didn't answer their question of what she was doing that had her so distant and distracted, or why her temper seemed to have gotten shorter lately.

Carlisle thought it might be some medical thing. Perhaps her brain had been injured during the accident and these were just delayed effects, but every time he checked, double checked, and even triple checked the X-rays they had taken while she was unconscious, he could find nothing wrong with her. There was hardly a scratch on her, other than the one on her arm which seemed to stay present, and oddly familiar crescent-shaped scar on her neck. It looked eerily like the one on her hand, left by James the Tracker.

“So, it's decided then?” Alice stated more than asked. The Cullens nodded anyway.

“Right,” Jasper said, “we're going to find out what's wrong with Bella one way or another.”

“For our sister!” Emmet all but shouted. Alice, Jasper, and even Rosalie repeated him while Carlisle and Esme shared a smile. Bella really had become a part of their family.

“A war?” Tucker, the head of the Siberia pack, asked. Bella nodded. Her training was almost over, and pretty soon she would be returning to Edward in her bedroom.

“Yes, that's right,” Bella confirmed. “There's a war coming between vampires and werewolves, and I have to stop it by starting another war, one that will bring peace in the end.”

“Hah!” Alanna laughed. “That's a good one, Bella!”

The halfa didn't laugh with her. Slowly, Alanna's smile faded, and she frowned when she saw the serious expression on Bella's face.
