    Will Drew manage to keep Ashley and Spencer apart? Glen keeps on digging a hole – Aiden sets some rules….

     

                “Listen Lee, I do have money, you know that.  I just don’t want to live out of our means, and my means are on a PA’s wage.  Dad isn’t going to be handing us any child supports,” began Drew.

     

                “NO!  He owns me that, it’s his responsibility…,” ranted Ashley.

     

                “Shhhh, no.  That was the only way he’d say yes to me being your legal guardian.  It’s that or you go to live with him.  You know what that will be like.  You cannot go on living here you know that.  I’m going to New York to meet with my accountant, and a lawyer to settle things.  To get whatever we make from the house into a trust fund for you at 21…”

     

                “18,” stated Ashley.

     

                “21,” restated Drew, “no arguing with me.  I’ll be back by Friday.”

     

                “I want to go with you, can I?  Please?” begged Ashley.  Her hands tented in front of her, slowly sinking to her knees, and Drew caught her.  A laugh in Ashley’s older sister’s voice.

     

                “Ok, ok, we leave in a few hours.  Should we go wake the Carlin’s and tell them?”

     

                “No, I’ll just leave a note, and…,” drifting off, jumping up and as she got dressed hurriedly.  Juggling her shoes, and Drew lay down on the couch, watching her scamper around, “Ready,” announced Ashley. 

     

                Within fifteen minutes, they were leaving the Carlin’s driveway, Ashley’s cell phone still on her bedside table.

                “So that’s all she meant?”  Spencer rubbed her face, “I was all worried!  I was sure she wanted to break us up!  Damn, and my mother was all happy about it too.”

     

                “She was?” a note of disappointment drifted into Ashley’s voice.  She’s thought she was making headway with Paula, she figured she’d been wrong.

     

                “Yeah, but, so Drew is cool?”

     

                “Yeah, as much as an older sister can be.  I have to get rid of my Porsche, we’re going to do that next week.  No gas guzzlers, and the house, well, its WAY to big for us.  So she wants to check around for some houses, but I still get to go to King.  That’s the plan,” smiled Ashley.  Reaching over, taking Spencer’s hand, kissing the fingertips.  Sucking one into her mouth, and letting it pop out softly.

YAY!!!! drew is cool…shes no longer on this shit list, as a matter a fact….shes like in my top 3 on the awsome ppl list, lol…i think its really cool that shes “straightening” ash out…hahah no pun intended…lol w/e but as sad as it is to say goodbye to the porche…i think that ill live as long as she doesnt do anything nuts… : ) i have to be optimistic….at least she still has spence although those nights together in the same bed shall be missed…. ; ) j/k but yea this is getting alot more interesting especially with the fact that glen is getting ready to hit rock bottom….but yea i loved this chapter…post again sooN!
