    Nothing tastes as sweet as what I can’t have…

    His chest ached for air, he couldn’t breathe. Staring at her back, he watched her move, spreading one hand flat against the wall, the other at her hip. Ashley leaned, pressing her forehead against the window’s heated glass. I feel so cold. She heard his strangled breaths behind her, each one punched, connecting solidly with her heart. She staggered under the blows. Grasping the wall with her other hand, somehow she remained upright. “I’m sorry.” Her whispered apology hung, suspended in the bedroom’s silence. “I miss you. Aiden, have no idea how hard it’s been not having you in my life.” Suddenly her body twisted, his hands on her shoulders roughly tugged her around, throwing her against the wall. Ashley grimaced when her head bounced against the wood paneling behind her. Grabbing his raised hand in hers, Ashley whimpered, struggling desperately against his strength.

    “It was your choice Ash…it’s always your fucking choice…” Unable to keep the bitterness from his voice, Aiden knew he was scaring her. His eyes darkened, his breath coming in strained gasps as he realized that he wanted to scare her…to hurt her…for everything. Delicate, soft hands brought his clenched fist against her cheek. “If this is what you need to do…do it.” He loathed himself, but in that moment he hated her more. The loud crack startled them both. Aiden watched her cheek darken almost matching the color trickling from her nose. It was gone almost instantly, but he saw it first…his stomach rebelled at the brief expression of pleasure that crossed her face. Nauseous, he dropped his hands stumbling backwards away from the brunette. He turned, running towards the bathroom. Pushing aside grasping arms, he retched violently.

    Comforting arms encircled him, holding his shaking body. Aiden leaned against his lover’s strength. The bathroom darkened slightly as a small figure appeared in the doorway. Turning to look between his two lovers, Aiden felt his stomach twisting as he waited anxiously for the flame to consume the fuse. “Glen.” Ashley’s low, raspy voice shocks him, there is no outraged surprise, no face flushed with anger. The sob starts low in his chest. Before he can stop it, it’s out, his own explosion. Closing his eyes, he can hear Glen’s soft voice, whispering, feel his hands as they caress reassuringly along his back and arms. When he opens his eyes, she’s gone.

Just when i thought there was no story/author on this site that would keep me coming back for more, i can honestly say that i check this site like 10+ times a day for an update on this or any of your stories they are so filled with emotion, its hard not to become attached to the characters, anyways i just wanted to say keep up the good work i look forward to every update,they brighten up my day :)Thanks

    23. i think this story is a little above my reading level…lol. i know it jumps back and forth…but im confused as tro when it does and what exactly is going on with spencer in labor…or not? oh man…im lost. but from what i do understand…i like it! lol.
