The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 6 Six, Grab Your Curcifix)
“I’m worried about you, Spencer.” The younger girl was snapped out of her musings when she felt a tight brace being wrapped around her sore ankle. She didn’t even remember putting her leg up on her aunt’s lap.
Spencer turned a little to look at Marie, watching as the older woman methodically bound her ankle with an Ace Bandage. “I don’t want you going out anymore alone. And I don’t want you going out at night at all. I don’t understand what you’re thinking.” Finished with Spencer’s ankle, Marie paused to collect her thoughts. “It’s not safe out there.” Her voice was forced calm. “And you know how I feel about Ashley Davies.”
Here we go. Spencer thought, closing her eyes and slowly taking a deep breath to calm herself. “Aunt Marie-”
“This is not under discussion, Spencer. Your father and I talked about this and I do not want you around Ashley Davies unless you have to. You must know how your mother felt about her.”
The sentence was like a punch to the gut for Spencer. Slowly, she turned her head to look at her aunt, her eyes like slits. “What?” She asked in disbelief.
“Spencer…your mother…Tolerated Ashley because of her friendship with Raife and…Ashley’s mother. She did not approve nor appreciate your friendship with her. She’s…different. And those differences made your mother very uneasy. Do you understand to which differences I’m referring?” Marie asked in a placating tone.
“Oh, I think I know.” Spencer said as she sucked on her teeth and looked around the room.
“Spencer, honey.” Marie paused as she reached out to take her niece’s hand. “You are a lovely young woman. You are kind and accepting. They are great qualities to have. However,” Marie paused and Spencer looked over at her, slightly shaking her head at the direction the conversation had taken. “I know that your mother would not approve, and I’m trying the best that I can to carry out her beliefs. You can understand that, can’t you?” She asked softly.
Spencer ran her fingers through her messy hair, trembling slightly and willing herself not to cry. Aunt Marie’s word
s were piercing her heart. She knew that her mother was deeply religious and her daughter’s feelings for Ashley would most likely horrify her and break her heart.

Thank you keepXmeXawake for being Stix’s great friend so she felt compelled to post. Oh wait, that’s me! Yay me! Thanks then to best friend Theresa, Roxystyle011 and Mute and everyone else who nagged Stix! Special thanks to the makers of red bull, they gave her wiiiiings!! We’ve gone too long without an update and we missed you!!! Just so you know, I took notes as well. Aunt Marie creeps me out. Period. That’s all I have to say about her. Aww, poor Arthur, still so broken up. Apparently, he really doesn’t know his kids very well. How can he not know that it wasn’t his daughter who wrote the note? The killer was right beside him … scary! Stupid kids, they won’t go to the dance because of the murders but they go to dark corn mazes?? That’s like, ok killer, come and get me, kill me now since I don’t have enough sense to stay home or do the buddy system! *coughs Jonica* Kyla asking Ashley hang out felt kinda incestuous, even if they’re not related in your story. The Psycho theme playing in the background was kinda funny. Hahaha And they finally kiss!! But the progress of their relationship will suffer a setback because of the meddling, huh? You didn’t mention whoever the Killer is holding prisoner again… I have a hunch who it is but I can’t be sure. Sooooo, that means you have to post more chapters A.S.A.P. Thanks!
thanks to everyone you said to thank.. because you’re back! god that was a long time coming. I pretty much agree with everything keepXmeXawake said. aunt marie pisses me off and yes she’s freaking creepy. poor ash hearing all that she said to spence. yay jonica bit the big one! sorry if I seem too happy about that but I don’t like her. sucks that their first kiss was to fool carmen, but at least it happened! finally! interested to see who the other 3 students are that the killer got to. sooo of course it means that you really really have to post again… really really soon!!! please?? ok, thanks. excellent job stix! I still love you!!
omg so glad youre back!!! sorry bout your mom, but very glad shes doing well, and very glad you had a great bday and holiday! i wasnt sure i was gonna like a mystery/thriller from you as much as your other stories, but i shoulda known better- its every bit as addictive to read as the others :) big thanks to all who encouraged your return- but even bigger thanks to you for refusing to leave a story unfinished :) -waiting not so patiently for the next installment :)
i was thrilled to see you posted again! i love this story, it’s so suspenseful, it kills me!!! i can’t believe aunt marie… what a fucking doucher! i really want to know how this ends so you must pms! pleeeeeease!!!!! =]
Thanks so much for posting, and glad to hear your mom is doing much better!!!
Hey I am uber glad you are back. This story is awesome. The way you manage for me to hate a fictional character such as Marie is just amazing. Its her fault that both girls are in such pain. They deserve the best and the best is each other. I am ready for more chapters whenever you post. Sorry it took so long to read this one. But it was great. I cant wait for the killer to get what he/she deserves. I would say to bad for Jonica but I never really liked her so oh well. Hmm that probably sound bad….anyway I wonder who else got killed that night. I am glad it was not adian even though he did lie to ash which was a douch move. I hope there is more spence and ash closeness that is always nice. Ok well thanks for the post and stay safe. -Jess
