The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 10, Ten Little Indians)
“Hey?” Spencer whispered, completely surprised by the sudden lack of nothing. “What’s up?” She asked in a timid voice. Blue eyes scanned Ashley beautiful face and saw the worst; Ashley Davies had shut down. She took in the dark orbs and saw desire there, but for only a moment before it flickered and vanished.
“We should go see if Carmen’s x-rays are done.” Ashley said in a monotone voice before she turned to leave. But Spencer wasn’t going to let her off the hook that easily.
“Wait, wait, wait.” Spencer spat out and grabbed Ashley’s wrist softly before she turned her around. “What just happened, where did you go?” The blonde asked in a tone that she hoped expressed her concern.
“What are we doing, Spence?” Ashley asked in a resigned tone. She rubbed her forehead and looked about the closet for answers that weren’t in cleaning supplies. “I heard what Marie said about me the other night, how your father feels, how Paula felt! This is ridiculous.” Ashley muttered, defeated and angry at herself. And now Spencer was angry.
“Knock it off.” Spencer answered in an even tone. “I told you I wanted you in my life, Ashley. I don’t care what my aunt said and who cares what my dad thinks or what…” Spencer trailed off, not wanting to think about her mother right now. “The bottom line is that we were once friends and I want that again. I know things have gotten fucked up or whatever but I want your friendship. So fuck my aunt, you know how she is.” Ashley listened hard and didn’t dare to hope.
“You’re a real asshole, you know that Ashley Davies.” The brunette blanched at the insult as she watched Spencer run her fingers through the dark wig before she pulled it off and fixed her blonde hair.
“Huh?”
“We were having a grand old time and then you just had to-” Spencer stopped herself as she sucked her teeth then looked at the confused girl in front of her. “Look…let’s just go check on Carmen and we can continue this conversation back at the house.” Ashley shrugged as she inspected her shoes. “You could have at least stuck around that night to tell me you were peacing out before I got up.” Spencer chastised as she remembered how it felt waking up to find Ashley’s cot empty. “And you didn’t even thank me for the Monster Mash dance I did or the freaking pumpkin I got.” Spencer added, remembering how pissed she was.

Aww you can’t just leave it there…please PMS!!
dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!
I LOVE this story! I cannot wait until the next update! PMS!!!
That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
