“It was a cute dance.” Ashley shyly mentioned with a small smirk.
“Thank you.” Spencer said with a hint of anger still in her tone.
“Thank you for the dance and the pumpkin, sorry I didn’t stick around to tell you I was peacing out.” Ashley continued as her smirk grew.
“You’re welcome. It’s fine.” The blonde said, feeling a little better now that she got that off her chest. When Ashley swooped down to kiss Spencer’s blushing cheek, the blonde pushed a stray hair behind her ear with the hand that didn’t hold the wig.
“I’m going to have to lie to my aunt about this.” Spencer said, and then clarified. “Well obviously I’m not telling her about this.” She motioned to the room, meaning Ashley and Spencer’s agreement. “She just doesn’t understand and I don’t really feel like getting into it with her. Just know that whatever I say…I don’t mean…or whatever.” Spencer finished nervously as she looked down at the wig. Ashley thought about it and understood, although not pleased. But she didn’t really feel like talking to Marie about their friendship and easily agreed.
“I get it.” The two locked eyes for a second as they both tried to read the other. Spencer knew that she needed to step it up with the brunette. Ashley had it hard. She basically lost both parents the night her father died. Her mother was never around and Ashley had no one. In the short time the pair had been spending together, Aiden was the only person to call her and since he had reconnected with Sasha the phone calls were few and far between.
But Spencer was scared. She knew that there was absolutely no way that she could come out. And she knew that if she were to tell Ashley that she were in fact very gay, then it would make it impossible for the blonde not to start something serious with her ex best friend. And Ashley deserved more than that. She deserved someone who was proud to be her girlfriend. So she just settled for making out in closets and cars on their stake-outs. She would just have to stay in the closet. The blonde almost laughed out loud at the thought—after all, they were currently in an actual closet.

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
