“No, I like that.” Lily said with a smile. “Okay, who’s super religious that we know?” Spencer shot Ashley a glare, daring her to mention the obvious.
“Don’t look at me like that, Spence, I’m not going to mention your aunt.”
“And why not?! Throw in my brother and you’d have mentioned everyone I care about as a suspect.”
“And maybe I would have said Maria was a super obvious choice, but that was until she saved my life. After that I thought a little differently about her.” Ashley sneered back.
“What are you talking about?” Spencer questioned, completely confused and a little anxious at hearing that Ashley life was yet again put in jeopardy.
“The other day I was coming from the sheriff’s station and I wasn’t looking where I was going and I almost got hit by a car…actually two. But Marie pulled me back in time and almost had an aneurism over the fact that I wasn’t looking where I was going and whatever.” Ashley said. In an instant, Spencer was on her feet, beside the brunette.
“Ashley! Are you okay?! When was this? Did you get hurt at all?!” Spencer asked, hands on the brunette’s checks, turning her head side to side inspecting the girl as best she could.
“Spencer! I’m fine!” Ashley tried to convince her as she fought off the blonde’s hands. But Spencer was still panicked, and her hands had moved down to the hem of Ashley’s shirt, checking her back and stomach. Lily looked on, completely caught off-guard at the extreme concern the blonde was showing and her thorough inspection. “Spence!” Ashley whined, embarrassed and very aware of their audience. “Nothing happened, I’m fine!”
“You better be, Ashley Paula Davies, or I’d kick your ass!” Spencer chastised before she moved back to the other side of the room where she took her seat once again.
Neither noticed, too caught up in each other, but Lily’s mind was working fast. Several important things hit her all at once as brown and blue eyes connected in a stare-off.
“Paula.” Lily said under her breath, but breaking Ashley and Spencer’s spell. Both girls turned to look at Lily. “Ashley, your middle name is Paula.”
“Um…I know.” Ashley said sarcastically.
“And, Spencer,” Lily continued, ignoring Ashley. “Your middle name is…?”

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
