“You ready to go?” He asks as I approach him.

“Yeah. Let’s go.” After I say that I attempt to lead him out of dorm but I look back to see if he’s following but he’s not. I turn to see him just standing still in front of the chair he was sitting in. “You okay?” I ask concerned.

“Yeah I’m fine. You just look really pretty tonight. That’s all.” He says with a nervous grin.

“Well thank you.” I say. I think I might be blushing. “You look really good tonight too.”

We continue to walk out of the lobby and he leads me to the place he mentioned earlier. The surroundings begin to look familiar and when he leads me towards a building I can’t help but laugh a little.

“Something funny? I hope this place is okay with you.” He says, noticing my chuckle.

“Yeah it’s fine. I was here earlier today with a friend and I wasn’t expecting this would be the place we would have dinner. But it’s fine.”

“Well we can go somewhere else if you want. I didn’t know you already came here today.” He says quickly, as if I’m disappointed.

“No it’s fine. Obviously you wouldn’t have any idea that I’ve already been here. It’s seriously okay.” I say trying to ease his nerves.

He opens the door for me and I follow him to a booth. Of course it would be the same booth that I was in with Ashley earlier. I can’t help but think of the coincidence of it all. We order pizza and talk during the whole meal. I learned he’s a really nice guy and used to play basketball until he just lost interest in it. He seems like a really nice guy, and he means well. I tell him about my life in Ohio and then in LA. And just little tidbits of information and he surprisingly seemed interested in getting to know me.

We back to my dorm, hand in hand, and I don’t want the night to end. I had an amazing dinner with a great guy who seems to be interested in me. When we get to the door of my dorm and it’s time for us to say goodnight then he tells me that he had an amazing time and would like to do it again. I agree and we plan another date. Before he says his final goodbye then he gazes into my eyes and gives me the sweetest kiss and says he’ll see me in class.

I’m so excited about my date with Aiden and how it seems like a relationship is beginning to blossom.  I can’t wait to see Ashley in class and tell her all about it.
