Even though I only met her earlier today I can’t seem to get Ashley off my mind. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s her dark and mysterious eyes or maybe just her different personality. I’ve never met anyone as interesting as her. She’s lived a completely different life than I have. I mean she has a rock star as a father, how can you top that?

While sitting in my chemistry class, I see this guy keep glancing over at me. He’s cute and seems harmless but I pay him no mind. At the end of class he catches up to me and introduces himself as Aiden Dennison. We started talking and before I knew it, he walked me all the way back to my dorm.

"Oh. Well here we are." I say, surprised we’ve been talking this long.

"Yeah." He says hesitantly, as if he wants to ask me something.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask.

"Well… I was wondering… if you were free for dinner because I know this great little place right off campus." He says unsure of himself.

"Um, yeah. I’m free."

"Okay great. I’ll pick you up at 8. Is that okay?" He says, obviously excited.

"Yeah that sounds fine. Just wait in the lobby and I’ll meet you there."

I don’t know where the time went; I guess I was too busy thinking about lunch today with Ashley when I dozed off. I finally woke up and glanced at the clock when I realized that it was already 7:32 and I still had to take a shower and get ready. I’m trying to pick out the perfect outfit for a dinner date. Aiden’s cute and he seemed interested in me so there’s no reason for me to not think it’s a date. I probably tried on twenty different outfits before I finally settle on one. A decide on a jean skirt, and a cute little tank top.

After straightening my hair I head down to the first floor of the dorms. It’s a little after 8 but I’m not as late as I thought I would be. I see Aiden sitting in the lobby fumbling with a magazine. When he stands up I see he’s wearing a black button down dress shirt and dark jeans with a pair of black loafers. He looks good, really cute.
