As we walked downtown to the club I ask myself what the hell have I gotten myself into this time? Carmen was being more than flirty with me all the way down to the club, stroking my arm when not necessary, laughing at the mildest joke. I must say I was quite flattered to have someone hit on me, even if it was a girl. We got into the club and as I began to look around the room I notice a lot of girls. I look around again and see a lot of girls dancing with each other, and a few of them practically having sex on the dance floor. That’s when it hit me that Carmen took me to a lesbian club. I almost laugh at this realization but I’m here to have fun and damn it I will. Carmen takes my hand and pulls me towards her and asks if I’d like to dance. I nod and we make our way to the center of the dance floor. At first it was all fun and innocent, for the most part, but the longer we danced, the more we got into it and before I knew it we were one of the couples practically having sex on the dance floor. I wasn’t in protest to this; to my surprise I was enjoying it. The closer we danced the more fun I was having and the less I was thinking about Ashley.

It started getting late and I noticed people filing out of the club. It wasn’t long until Carmen and I followed suit. We walked hand in hand back to the dorm, me doing most of the flirting this time. When we got to my door, I found that I wasn’t exactly ready for this date to end.

“I had fun.” I say facing Carmen and taking her other hand in mine.

“Me too.” She says simply as her smile widens. “We should do this again sometime.”

“I would really like that.” I agreed.

Before I knew it I was leaning in for a kiss and to my relief she met me halfway. It was an innocent kiss and when we pulled away I could see in her eyes that she wanted more and I wasn’t fully satisfied either. I wrapped my hand around the back of her neck to pull her in for a deeper kiss; this one being much more passionate and fiery than the previous kiss. She pushed me up against the wall beside my door as I felt a wave of passion roll through my body. It wasn’t long before I felt her tongue ask for entry and I didn’t hesitate to grant that to her. Our tongues danced around in my mouth as our hands feverishly roamed the others body. We both moaned into the kiss. After a few minutes I pulled away trying to catch my breath.

“Wow.” I hear myself say.

“Right back atcha.” She says, her smile just as big as mine. “So about that next time?” She playfully asks.

“There will definitely be a next time.” I breathe out, anxious for that second date.

We share a goodbye kiss and I watch her walk into the stairwell. I opened the door to a sleeping Kyla, to my surprise, and quietly change into my pj’s.

“So how was your date?” The sound of Kyla’s voice made me jump.

“It was amazing.” I say, still wearing a huge smile on my face. “I thought you were asleep when I came in.”

“I was.” She replies. “Until I heard you two saying goodnight to each other or whatever that moaning was out there.”

I feel myself blush as I laugh. “Oh. Sorry about that. I didn’t know we were that loud.”

“Well I take it you had fun.”

“Oh yes. I had a lot of fun.” I say, replaying that kiss in my head and feeling the butterflies in my stomach all over again. "And hopefully it will be this much fun on our second date too."

“Ooh, a second date. You’ll just have to tell me how that one goes as well.”

"I’m sure you will be the first to know."

"Good. I’m glad you had fun and you’ve found someone." Kyla says as she turns over and falls back asleep.

“Me too.” I say quietly, more to myself than anything. I fall into bed not feeling this content and this happy since I can’t remember when. As I drift off to sleep I can actually feel Ashley becoming a distant memory.
