I woke up with a killer hangover. After I’d left the roof I’d found Yay in the living room with a bottle of vodka and we drank until the sun came up. Not the best idea but I needed to numb the feeling of her fire in my blood.

I rolled out of bed and onto the floor, cushioned by my quilt thank god, wood is hard and cold when you hit it with your face.

Fuck, this was going to hurt, I thought as I debated whether to try standing or lie there all day. A noise caught my attention and I cracked open an eye and saw what could only be Brit’s leg in my doorway.

‘Get your ass up off the floor Spence,’ she told me. I lay there, denying her existence. ‘Ashley’s downstairs,’ she told me and I jumped to my feet, heart pounding.

Well, I tried to but ended up in a worse state than when I started.

‘Dude, you’re a wreck,’ she helped me to my feet. ‘Fuck! ‘Spence, CLOTHES!’ she yelled before covering her eyes and running for the door.

Well she deserved it, once my sober mind kicked in I knew there was no way in hell Ashley was going to come here, even if she knew where I lived.

I felt like shit so decided to hit the gym and burn off some of the alcohol in my blood. I’d dragged myself to the gym, reminding myself it was for my own good. I’d had to get a ride from Brit as there was no way I was legal to ride my bike. I usually came after school and took it easy at the weekend but I needed to lose the memories from last night. It was hard as the slight ache between my legs was a constant reminder of my encounter with Ashley. Encounter? Sorry, I meant fucking. Let’s be honest shall we?

I pushed the door of the locker room open and headed for my usual spot, towards the back, near the showers. I was just unpacking my bag and heard the door go. I straightened up out of curiosity but it was no one I knew, just a rather attractive blonde. I smiled and it was returned, the locker room was a great place to meet women. You got to check out the goods before committing, bond at the water fountain and then follow through if they seemed worth the effort.
