Reflections In The Rearview – (Chapter: Chapter 12)

Ash grumbled, but scooted to the floor next to Spencer. “Fine but I get to be the battleship”

Spencer just smiled and started to deal out the money. The game began and it was obvious that Ashley was winning about thirty minutes in. She had hotels on all of her properties and a stack of one hundred dollar bills that would have made Trump jealous.

Ashley was suddenly growing thirsty and longed to get a mocha from the café. She asked Spencer to go get her a drink, but the blonde refused. “If you want one so bad go get it yourself” she argued.

“Okay seriously Spence? You’re going to make your handicap girlfriend get up off the floor and hobble over to the café? You can be so insensitive”

“Oh please I know you don’t care about getting up and going over there, you just want to make sure I won’t cheat”

“You’re right, I don’t trust you one bit” Ashley replied.

“Aww come on babe I won’t cheat I promise….it’s safe to go get your coffee”

    Ashley eyed her suspiciously, “Promise?”

Spencer nodded her head earnestly, “Scouts honor”

Ashley slowly stood up and grabbed her crutches making her way over to the café. “One mocha please” She waited for the barista to make her beverage, all the while stealing glances at her girlfriend who was sitting innocently on the floor with her hands in her lap. Ashley couldn’t help but smile and feel bad for her earlier behavior, so she decided to order Spencer a mocha as well. The barista offered to carry her drinks over to where she was seated and the brunette thanked her.

Spencer smiled when she saw Ashley leading the way back to the rug, the barista following close behind. Ashley sat down and the barista handed her their drinks before returning to work. “Spence I’m so sorry about earlier I shouldn’t have gotten all jealous. It’s just you mean so much to me and sometimes I think I don’t deserve you” She held out the mocha to the blonde, “Peace offering?”

Spencer nodded and smiled reaching out to grab the drink, when suddenly a stack of one hundred dollar bills spilled out of her sleeve. Ashley’s jaw dropped as the money floated to the ground covering the board. Spencer’s face turned pale, as she saw Ashley set down their drinks.

“Whatever happened to scout’s honor?!” Ashley cried out, flabbergasted at the blonde’s behavior.

Spencer inched backwards in fear, “Now Ashley I told you a long time ago that they kicked me out of the girl scouts because I kept hoarding all the cookies”

Ashley growled and pounced on the younger girl, tickling her fiercely. “No one cheats with me Carlin!” she said attacking the girl’s ribs. Spencer began to laugh uncontrollably.

“Stop! Stop! I’m sorry I won’t do it again!” Her breathing became shallow and she whimpered as Ashley continued to tickle her.

“Damn right you won’t do it again!” Ashley yelped as Spencer suddenly pushed the brunette off her and straddled her hips. “Hey no fair!” Ashley cried, “What did I do to you!”

“No one tackles me and gets away with it Davies!” Spencer who was about to tickle Ashley, suddenly had a better idea and rocked her hips slowly against the brunette’s.

Ashley’s eyes widened, “Not fair” she breathed out, her eyes swimming with desire.

Spencer stood up suddenly sitting back on the couch. “What’s going on?” Ashley asked as she remained on her back on the floor.

Madison passed the girls and made her way out of the lodge, “Ick why don’t you two just get a room?” She yelled over her shoulder.

Ashley’s head dropped back onto the rug. Damnit Madison, you’re such a buzz kill.
