“Spence look at you! There’s no way you are anything but a size zero. You have a killer figure!”

A predatory growl rose in Ashley’s throat and she frowned at the stranger. Spencer spotted her girlfriend seated at the couch by the fire and walked over to her smiling. “Ash you have got to meet Lizzie my roommate!”

Lizzie? Ashley thought to herself. What happened to Ruth … Spencer’s roommate was supposed to be a dowdy bookworm!

Lizzie grinned and reached out her hand to Ashley. “So you’re Ashley! Spencer has told me all about you!”

Ashley glanced at the girls hand but didn’t shake it. “Is that so?”

Spencer frowned at her girlfriend, noticing her foul disposition. “Yeah Ash. Lizzie just got back from the circuit she’s a pro surfer.”

“Just got back from a pro surf tour and now you’re on a lame ski trip for school?” Ashley implored.

Lizzie ignored Ashley’s mood, “Yeah, in the off season I snowboard to keep active. So this was the perfect opportunity to get some boarding in before Christmas.”

The brunette simply nodded and returned her gaze to the fire. Aiden made his way into the lodge and walked over to where Spencer was standing with Lizzie.

“Hey Spencer” he greeted, “who’s your friend?” Aiden smiled warmly at the blonde stranger.

“Oh hey Aiden, this is my roommate for the weekend Lizzie.”

Aiden took in the gorgeous blonde and beamed like crazy. He shook her hand eagerly, “It’s nice to meet you Lizzie”

Lizzie smiled as well, “You too Aiden”

“So” Aiden said turning towards Spencer, “are you gonna be hitting the slopes with us today?”

Spencer shook her head lightly, “Nah I think I’m gonna stick around here and get some reading done, plus can’t leave Ashley to her own devices now can I?”

Aiden chuckled, “No I guess not. What about you Lizzie, care to join me?”

Lizzie smiled, “Well I’m not sure if you can keep up with me, ever gone snowboarding?”

And with that the pair made their way out of the lodge heading out for a day of snowboarding.

Spencer sat down next to the brunette on the couch, the lodge was empty, with all the other students out for a day on the slopes. “Ash?” the blonde inquired.
