Rebel Yell – (Chapter: 1st day of school ,Rocker Girl from Ohio.)

They even encourage my musically talents and instrumental preferences of guitar and piano. Which was a fine compromise at a young age because my father loved to play guitar and my mother by force had to learn how to play classical music on the piano as a child. But not me I loved both of it, growing up I heard my dad play on his old electric Gibson Les Paul and my mother on the Baby Grand Piano. Which are not both of my mine since I am the only one who had the natural ability to play music and learn without being taught.

I have two brothers who are not musically inclined what so ever. Glen was the all American boy Jock, and my brother Clay he is the same age as Glen (whom my parents had adopted when Glen was 8 and I was 7 ) is pretty much the brain out of the two . We joke around that he got that from my mother despite the fact that Clay is black it never mattered to us. Glen was the milk man’s son. Which would have been believable if he did not get the blue eyes and blonde hair from my mother, and my father’s sense of humor and features. Me on the other hand other than the musical talent , and brains , I look a lot like my mother . Blonde hair, blue eyes. Who am I? I am Spencer Alice Carlin, 17 yrs the youngest of the 3 Carlin Kids.

Appearance wise, I sort of look like a book worm , geek, brooding loner type of person or rocker girl .  Which is partially true, I guess. I am not as social as Glen or Clay. I gravitate more towards books , and music , but I am friendly , people seem to either think  differently of me though ,or even back in Ohio I was known as Glen and Clay’s Kid sister. But I was pretty much popular as they were mainly because I was also in a band but I was also shy, I was the lead guitarist/vocals for a band back in Ohio. Glen was our roadie/body guard ( so he can meet “ Hot Babes” that how he put it besides he was perfect for the job he was protective of me and my friends since we were an all girl band ) and Clay in turn became our manager ( well because he was good at negotiating and he made sure we didn’t get ripped off ). We were a cover band that played all sorts of music and a few songs written by me. But that all ended when we moved and how I miss my best friends from back home and just jamming with them and filling up some clubs and bars and just playing.  Glen always asked me “ Hey baby sis how come you never sleep with any of the girls that throw themselves at you, you can have you pick of any guy ( if you liked em lol ) and Girls , but you never go for them and you’ve only hand one girl friend and you broke up with her after 6 moths”. My simple reply was because they didn’t make me feel anything they didn’t inspire me.
