They spent the rest of the night unpacking all of Spencer’s things as well as the boxes that Ashley had still yet to unpack. They worked long into the night and collapsed on the couch exhausted. Ashley wrapped her arms around Spencer and they fell asleep almost instantly.

“God Marco…it’s gorgeous…you really need to see it.”

“Well Spence…I can’t wait till I come over. So Saturday is when the little one arrives?” Marco said as he ate his lunch in the blonde’s office.

“Yep.”

“So you sure you are ready for all of this?” Marco said giving the blonde a look of concern.

“Of course I am.”

“This is just too weird…soon you’re going to be married and taking care of a kid. If someone had told me this was going to happen a year ago I would have laughed at them…then I would have taken a deep breath and laughed again only this time louder than before.” Marco said shaking his head.

“I probably would have done the same…well not so much the laughing part but I would have been shaking my head in disbelief.”

*RING RING*

“Dr. Carlin.” Spencer said answering the phone.

“Oh Spencer…I have a very important message that must be delivered in person.” Ashley said huskily over the phone.

“Oh really? Why don’t you bring that beautiful behind of yours over here to deliver it then.”

“No, no. You need to come over here to get it…” Ashley said hanging up quickly.

Spencer smiled down at the phone and replaced the receiver. She wrapped up her lunch and handed it to Marco. “Do you want the rest of this?”

“Spence you know I’m counting carbs…it will completely throw my calculations out of whack if you make me eat that.”

“I am not forcing you to eat it Marco.” Spencer said beginning to throw the food away.

“Wait…umm…well see I may have miscalculated my carb count today so…I guess if you are making me eat this then I have no choice…” Marco said reaching out for the food.

Spencer shook her head and laughed. She handed the food over again to Marco who quickly finished it off. She kissed him on the forehead before heading over to Ashley’s office. Ashley’s young assistant waved at Spencer as the blonde made her way through the office door.
