Spencer rolled her eyes and sat on one of the chairs at the table. Marco saw that Spencer was deep in thought and sat down beside her.

“Spence? What’s ailing you my dear?”

Spencer looked at him and shrugged her shoulders.

“Did something happen? Well I mean outside of the all-night loving that is.”

“I…I just…See…” Spencer said not sure of what to tell Marco. ‘Why am I having such a hard time talking about this!’ She silently screamed at herself.

“Come on…sweetie…you can tell ol’ Marco…believe me nothing you can say will make me love you any less…I may say ‘eww’ many times but you still will always have my love and respect.” He said squeezing Spencer’s knee.

Spencer laughed softly and took a deep breath. “Well…Ashley and I were falling asleep after…and…she asked me…she asked me if I would…”

“Have a sex change…umm…have a three-way with the dominatrix that lives down her street…umm…have your mother committed to a mental institution where she would constantly be surrounded by gay and lesbian couples making out.”

“No…she asked me if I would marry her.” Spencer said quickly and watched Marco for his reaction.

“Wow….you guys have only been dating for like what…less than a week now…and the big question has already been popped? Aren’t you guys rushing this just a little bit?” Marco asked with a concerned look.

“I was just as surprised as you. I mean I know we are so right for each other and that Ashley loves me as much as I love her. I don’t know if it was the sex or what…”

“Must have been some really good sex…I mean when I have some really great sex…oh my I have had many moments where I have this yummy hunk of a man next to me and…”

“MARCO!”

“Oh right…your problem…well I mean surprise question…It’s really only a problem to some people…like for me…the whole idea of ‘I take you for the rest of my life to never sleep with anyone else…blah blah blah.’” He shivered.

“Can you focus here Marco?” Spencer asked impatiently.

“Sorry…ok so she asks you to marry her and you say?” Marco asked raising an eyebrow.
