Today was the release of my album. That was the reason why I had Madison get me the first copy off the assembly line. As soon as I walked through the front door of my house I couldn’t help but let my excitement radiate off of me, “Spencer! I’m home!”
“I’m in here Ash.” I heard her voice come from the living room.
“Hey, I have a surprise for you.” I plopped down beside her, hiding the c.d.
Her face lit up, “Really? Well I have a surprise for you too. But you go first.”
I quickly pulled my c.d. out from behind me, “Surprise! It’s the first one.”
“Ash, your album! Wait…first one as in, first one printed and burned?” She quickly opened up the case to reveal the c.d. inside.
“Yep, the first one ever.” I always smiled when I watched her open gifts.
“Ooo…That pic is HOT!” She pointed to a picture of me in a pair of ripped up jeans and a black tank, with my hair a mess and my favorite black electric Gibson guitar.
“Really? I thought I looked too ‘trashy’ in that pic, but Madison wouldn’t let me discard it.”
“All of these are hot! I feel like I’m looking through a Playboy or something.”
I cocked my eyebrow, “You look at Playboy?”
Spencer looked at me and gave me a phony smile, “Ha ha…no…I don’t. But if I did, this is what I would imagine some part of it.”
“Uh huh.” I laughed.
Spencer quickly shut the case, “Oh! I almost forgot,” She grabbed a bag from underneath the coffee table, “Here’s your gift…well…one part of it.”
I took the bag, “One part?”
“I’ll explain later.”
“What is it?” I stared down into the paper Mache that was covering the details of what was inside.
“Just open it!!” Spencer was giddy.
I slowly snaked my hand in the bag and felt the contents. It was a book. I pulled it down and looked at the cover. It was Spencer’s book, “Spence! Your book?!”
She nodded with a huge smile on her face, “Yeah. And that’s the first one off of the printer.”

*sigh…wipes tear away* I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. It is so great to Spashley so happy together forever. Great ending and great story overall! I hope you start a new fic after this.

awwwwwww!!!!! ok, that would be the third time i’ve cried over a fic today. and you know that it’s a true testimate to how good an author is when they make their readers cry. because that means they convey images, through their words, and draw the readers in. this is why reading is better than movies. because you arent actually seeing these things right in front of you…you’re forced to picture them, and when the author puts such images into your brain, even the sounds, its almost like you’re living it. you’re so awesome! i can only hope to be as good of an author as you. kudos. bahahaha. kudos…i love that word.
I really loved the story. you should make a sequel to it and like tell us about the baby and all that stuff. But thats just my opinon.

OMG! There are no words. This story was fantastic! I must say that your writing was excellent. We (writers, that is) are all obviously some very expressive people to be able to put all the feelings in our head on paper. This whole story was certainly a testament to that. Beautiful, that it was. It took me through so many emotions which I just adore in a story. I hate to see that it’s over. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I hope that you decide to write more. If I do it, it’ll be set a little farther in the future and I probably wont be posting it until mid summer or so. Like I said…I loved writing this fic. It’s my best work.
