“Steve this first inning has been pretty rough for both of these teams as the pitchers just are not delivering in the first batters which is causing the short stops to cover the steals…” Kelly the announcer said

“Ashley Davies just isn’t catching on to the skill of the Hurricane batters which is really giving her fielders a hard time…” Steve said

“we’re moving onto the fourth inning as Ashley Davies is looking tired, but Shirk is really starting to step up her game…seeing another pitcher get tired like that is really helping Shirks…”

“I have to say I’ve never seen Davies with that look of desperation on her face…with the Hurricanes leading one to nothing, Ashley can’t give up more than two runs or else the Cobras may not be able to make that come back…” Steve added

“she needs to pick up her game…just getting to states isn’t enough…she should want to walk away with that title, especially since she’s in the position to be starting pitcher for Pepperdine coaches…” Steve said
