Two days later was the district championship and with a tougher game we still managed to sweep Brookfield 3-1…three days later was states at Waves stadium at hopefully my future college.

Too bad prom was in a week and I still hadn’t picked between Spencer and Becca…I don’t understand why one of them can’t ask me…maybe it’s because they feel like they aren’t in the position to.

Becca kept giving me crap about how I’m never able to choose between anything and I’m always up in the air, then Spencer was saying how she’s jealous of Becca but then she says she’s not…Spencer’s been hot and cold which is really hard. Both of them have been so irritating, but I love having both of them in my life…so I’m torn during states which is not a good time to be going through this.

I was in my car driving to school to get onto the bus…when I got on the bus we were all in our warm-ups and had ESPN2 radio station on because they were covering our game.

“good after noon listeners…whether you’re watching or listening, tonight’s one hell of a night for high school fas tpitch as either the King High Cobras or the Brooklyn Hurricanes compete for that state championship.” One announcer said

“this is ESPN2 with me, Kelly Rutger…and Steve Mallone…Steve it’s clear both of these teams have earned being here as they’ve shown undefeated school records and bracket records up to this point…” the girls said

“that’s more than true Kelly…tonight I think it’s clear the hitting for both teams is secure, so I think it’s up to the pitchers to determine this game taking place in two hours….” He said

“yeah because Brooklyn has Brittany Shirk who’s clearly shown her ability to pitch that seventy five mile fast ball…the only thing they have to worry about is her shoulder, however, their backup Hallie Dugger can deliver the same momentum to keep that team in holding for that state title…” she said

“then there’s the Cobras with Ashley Davies…she’s been ranked fourth pitcher in the nation whereas Shirk is ninth…” Steve said “…Ashley’s got the attitude even if she’s slipping to keep her team up even though we haven’t seen her slip since she went through physical therapy for her elbow…she’s got the eighty eight fast ball which can drop to a sixty five change up, not many pitchers can pull that off…” he said
