    Depression…

     

    Paula was silent for a beat as she switched her gaze between Spencer and Ben. She finally landed on Spencer. “Go to bed, we will talk in the morning.” Spencer took her chance and shot out of the room and up the stairs. Within seconds she was in her bedroom crying hysterically at what she had done, and what her mother had done. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for her.

     

    Meanwhile, Paula sat down on the leather sofa with many thoughts running through her head. She felt the couch give a little as Ben sat down next to her and sighed. “What do you have against their relationship?” He asked in a normal civilized tone.

     

    “They are two girls, Ben. That is not only disgusting, but its wrong. It is in the bible.” Paula explained.

     

    “That is true. It is in the bible.” Ben agreed but soon changed his words. “Doesn’t the bible also say something about cheating on your spouse? You did that.” He explained.

     

    “Do NOT condone this.” Paula snapped. “And don’t bring me into this like you’re some sort of saint.”

     

    “I’m not saying I am. What I’m saying is that nobody is perfect. Spencer is not less of a person because of it.” Paula just stared off into his eyes as her anger sunk and dissipated. “Just think about that. I’m going to bed. See you in the morning.” He kissed the top of her head and walked up the stairs toward his bedroom.

     

    In the morning Spencer woke up with a dyer headache and a pain in her stomach. The muscles of her back were sore for no apparent reason and she didn’t want to get out of bed. She turned off her alarm clock and sunk into her sheets watching the wall in front of her. She was ashamed of her new bedroom. There were no pictures or poster on the walls and no items on her nightstand. She refused to make the room feel like home knowing fully well that it wasn’t her home. But now she was beginning to think it was time to decorate. She felt like blacks and grays would be a good scheme for her prison.

I totally get where Spencer is coming from though not wanting to go with Ash and in time so will Ash, is has to be a hard thing to hear that this great idea that you had has soooo many flaws in it! Please post soon I love this story!
