“Alright, I’ll have to go now and kick Madison’s ass,” Ashley said with a smile. Ashley kissed Spencer softly on her lips.

“Good luck, babe,” stated Spencer.

“Thanks,” Ashley responded with a smile. “You’re my lucky charm.” She and Madison began to ski down the mountain. Ashley skied past Madison. Madison went to catch up with Ashley. Ashley looked back, and saw Spencer watching her intently. She jumped in the air with her skis. Spencer looked impressed with her girlfriend. Ashley was about to fall back down to the mountain with her skis and came down too fast and bumped her head. When Spencer noticed Ashley wasn’t moving, she ran towards her.

“Ashley!” said a panicked Spencer. “Ash!” Spencer ran towards an unconscious Ashley and began to shake Ashley to help wake her up. Madison stopped her skis and scoffed. “Y-you just fell…please wake up. Please”

“Don’t worry about her, Spencer,” Madison snarled. “She’s faking it since I’m a better skier than she is.” Spencer ignored Madison and shook Ashley attempting to wake her up.

Sometime later, Spencer walked towards Ashley’s hospital room with a bouquet of red roses. Kyla was in the hospital room with Ashley. She noticed Spencer through the window. Kyla went to block the door to prevent Spencer from entering the room. “Kyla,” said Spencer. “Let me pass. Please.”

“What are you doing here, Spencer?” Kyla asked coldly. “She’s not going to be asking for you. Go back to your little field trip.”

“What the hell is your problem?” asked Spencer angrily.

“Who’s there?” Ashley questioned with curiosity.

“No, one, Ash, just a bug,” responded Kyla coldly.

“I need to see Ashley,” Spencer stated in a desperate tone. “I need to see her now.” Kyla closed the door behind her.

“It’s your fault my sister is here to begin with,” answered Kyla. “You’ve done enough damage. My sister had a concussion because of you! Now get the hell out of here!”

“Look, if I can change what happened I would,” Spencer began with a sigh. “I don’t want Ashley in the hospital bed hurt. I would rather be the one in the hospital bed.”

Kyla opened the door to go back into the room and Spencer pushed past Kyla. She went towards Ashley who had several cuts and bruises on her face. Ashley had a bandage on her forehead as well. Ashley gave Spencer a questioning look. “I am so glad you are okay,” said a relieved Spencer. “I needed to check up on you.” Spencer hugged Ashley tightly and kissed her on her forehead.

“Alright, I’ll bite,” Ashley stated simply. “Who are you?” Spencer felt her heart break bit-by-bit since her girlfriend didn’t have any idea who she was. Spencer turned away from Ashley so the brunette wouldn’t notice the tears that were beginning to stream down her face and her bottom lip began to tremble.

“Name’s S-Spencer,” she said in tears.

“A-are you okay?” Ashley asked with concern.

“No,” answered Spencer sadly. “So y-you don’t remember me at all, Ashley? You don’t remember being best friends since pre-k? You d-don’t remember us dating?”

“I’m so sorry, but I don’t,” Ashley stated in an apologetic tone. Kyla angrily pulled Spencer out of the hospital room.

“Stay away from Ashley,” Kyla stated.

“I c-can’t,” sighed Spencer. “I’m not going to abandon my girlfriend when she needs me the most. I love her and she needs me as much as I need her.”

“You will stay away from her, far away,” Kyla responded.

“Fine, I’ll leave now, but I’ll be back, Kyla,” pointed out Spencer simply. Spencer walked away and broke down in even more tears.
