“I just wanted to see you. I miss you Ashley.” Kaci reached up and brushed her fingers along my cheek.

I closed my eyes, trying to figure out why I even was sitting here with this girl.

“You haven’t changed a bit Ash. You’re still the beautiful girl I dated in college.”

Hearing her words stung me like taking peroxide to a cut.

“You don’t know me anymore Kaci. I’m not the same girl I was in college and I have you to thank for that.” I spat out angrily.

Kaci was so drunk that I don’t even think she realized that was a stab at her.

“Come back to my place? The brunette begged. “Come back to me?”

Every time Kaci went to open her mouth, I just became angrier. She leaned in to kiss me, but I just moved to the side and she stumbled to the floor.

“What the hell Ashley!” She yelled from the ground.

“Look Kaci, we’re over. We’ve been over for years. God how could I be so stupid to have come here?” I mumbled the last part to myself. “I have the most amazing girlfriend now Kaci, I’m in love.” I told her straight up.

“Wow” Was all she managed out.

“Yeah. I really messed up by coming out here though.” I said taking a seat back on the stool and placing my head in my hand.

Kaci stood back up and joined me.

“Am I really that repulsive?”

“To be honest, I’ve never really forgiven you for what you did to me all those years ago, but I’m done hating you Kaci. If anything I should be thanking you.”

Kaci’s eyes widened in surprise at my comment. Hell even i was suprised at my revelation.

“Okay?”

“If you had never went ahead and broke my heart like you did, then I may never had dumped your slutty ass and met Spencer. So thank you.” I smirked at the brunette.

Kaci sat across from me at a loss of words with her mouth agape. I slapped a twenty down on the bar and waved to the bar tender.

“A round of tequila for my friend, she may need it.” I yelled to the handsom man behind the bar, while getting up from the stool.
