When we got inside, Kyla gave me a tour of her house, which took as long as a tour of a museum, seriously, her house is HUGE. Afetr we got done with the tour, we decided to start on our homework. After we got done with the easy stuff (i.e.English, history) we decided to have Ashley help us with our algebra.

"ASHLEY!" Kyla yelled down the stairs

"YEAH?"

"CAN YOU HELP SPENCER AND I WITH ALGEBRA?"

"YEAH, SURE, HANG ON"

A few minutes later, Ashley came in Kyla’s room with only boy shorts and a cut-off wife beater on. I must have been staring again because Kyla asked me what was wrong.

"What? Oh, n-nothing. I’m fine"

"Okay so, what do you guys need help with?"

"Everything" Kyla and I said in unison

"Haha. Okay, let me see your papers."

First, Ashley went over to Kyla and showed her what she was doing wrong and helped her with what she didnt get. I just stared as Ashley quickly solved the equations that took me forever to solve. Kyla must have not needed that much help because she was quickly finished heping Kyla and was now heading over to me. She kneeled behind me and peered her head over my shoulder. Oh, God, why does she have to be so close? My breath caught in my throat and I was speechless, which wasn’t good considering Ashley was asking me questions about my homework

"Spence, Spencer" Say something, doofus!!

"Spencer? Earth to Spencer?"

"Y-Yeah?"

"Are you okay? You’re breathing really fast and your face is realy red"

"Y-yeah it’s just kinda h-hot in h-here."Yeah, it is

"You want me to turn a fan on?" asked a concerned Kyla

"Y-yes, please"

"So anyway, what is it that you need help with?"

"U-uh I don’t g-get how to find the value of X"

"Oh that’s easy, all you have to do is…..blah blah" The truth is, I didn’t listen to a word she said. I was too wrapped up in the space between us, or lack thereof. God, she smells so good. Ralph by Ralph Lauren. One of my favorites mmm… "So, do you get it now?"

"Hm, what, oh y-yeah, thanks" I said as I turned to face her, but when i turned I noticed how close our faces were. I quickly turned away and blushed. I think she saw this because she asked me if I was still hot.

"Yeah, a little. I’m feeling a little better though."

"Good. So I’m gonna go get dinner started for the two of you. Call me if you guys need anything"

"Okay, thanks Ash"

"No problem, anytime."

After she left Kyla turned to me and smirked

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Oh. My. God."

"What?"

"I can’t believe it."

"WHAT?!?!" I repeated for the third time

"Spencer Carlin, you totally have a crush on my sister"Oh, crap

”What? What makes you think that?"

"I saw the way your breathing got fast and you got all red when she was close to you, helping you with your homework. And I know you didn’t listen to a single word she said."

"Whatever"

"See, you won’t even deny it."

"SPENCER CARLIN LOVES ASHLEY DAVIES!" Kyla screamed

"Kyla, shut up!" I joked and threw a pillow at her

"Whatever, you haven’t heard the last of this, though"

"Whatever, let’s play a game."

"Okay…how about Truth or Dare?"

"Okay, you go first"

"Okay, Truth or Dare?"

"ummmm, truth"

"Okay, what’s the grossest thing you’ve ever done?"

"Ate a worm."

"EWWWW! Okay, You’re turn."

"Truth or Dare"

"Dare."

"I dare you to eat a petal off of that rose over there" I said as I pointed to a vase that Kyla had on her desk in the corner of the room.

"But that’s fake"

"Excactly."

"Okay." She said as she took a petal of the rose and muched on it. When she finally swallowed, she made a face that looked like she was eating the most sour thing in the world

"Good. Good. Your turn"

"Okay, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Okay, this one you have to answer honestly."

"Okay. Go."

"Do you, Spencer Carlin, like my sister, my GAY sister, Ashley Davies"

"Yes! Okay, yes, I do."

"I KNEW IT!"
