Spencer sat there with tears in her eyes listening to Ashley sing.  And then it struck her.  What if Ashley wasn’t Ashley anymore?  I mean Ashley is Alexi now.  Spencer looked around watching everyone listening to her, singing her lyrics and applauding.  She couldn’t help but feel a little jealous, thinking that Alexi knew these people better than herself now.  Spencer felt a little upset to her stomach and asked a now sober Tina if they could talk in the restroom. 

Alexi was singing as she saw Tina being pulled into the bathroom by the beautiful blond she had seen earlier.  “Ugh.  She always takes the pretty ones.” She thought to herself as she finished up her set.

In the bathroom Spencer pulled Tina to her side.  Tina could tell something was wrong because Spencer started hyperventilating.

“Okay, Spencer.  It’s fine.  Just breathe.”  She was rubbing Spencer’s back and just about Spencer was about to tell her she couldn’t face Alexi, a brunette walked through the door that stole the breath from Spencer’s body.

“Hey.  What? You guys hated me that much you would rather hang out in the dirty bathroom?”  She laughed staring at the beautiful blonde who she felt could see right through her.

Spencer just stood there.  There were so many things going on in her mind.  She didn’t know what to say.  “I-uh-I…” she spat.

“Oh a fan!” Alexi laughed holding out her hand.  “I’m Alexi.”  Spencer took the girls hand and felt that feeling.  They both did.  The feeling that they were meant to be together.  “And you are…” Ashley asked not daring to let go of the girl’s hand.

“Al…” Tina chimed in with a very serious tone.  “You already know her.”

Alexi looked up confused. “What do you mean?”

Tina looked at Spencer who looked at Alexi.  “This is S-“ Before she could finish Spencer interjected.

“Sam!  My name is Sam.  Well it’s not really Sam. It’s Samantha but my friends call me Sam you know.”  Spencer looked at Tina who was very much confused. 

“Well, I’m pretty sure I’ve never met you…Sam.”  Alexi knew something was up but decided to put it on the back burner and looked at Tina.

“She’s my cousin remember? You guys met at the Christmas party?”  Tina knew it was the right party to bring up to help Spencer cover…seeing as Alexi only remembers right before that party and then the morning after.

“Well Sam.  It’s very nice to meet you.  And I’ll make it a point not to forget you this time.”  Alexi gave a wink and they finally let go of each other’s hands.  “So, what are we doing tonight?” Ashley asked not letting her eyes off Spencer’s.

“Well…Sam and I were actually planning on catching up tonight, you know…family stuff.”  Tina said looking at the two staring at each other.  “Right Sam?”  Tina poked Spencer.

“Oh.  Right.”  Spencer broke eye contact.  “Family stuff.”  Ashley looked at them suspiciously.

“Cool” the brunette said.  “Well if you’re going to be in town for a while maybe we can get together and hang out.”  Ashley sounded hopeful.

“I’d like that a lot Ash.” Spencer said not realizing what she just said.

“Uh. It’s Alexi.”  Alexi corrected.

“Oh right, yeah sorry…Alexi.  Well I guess we better get going Tina.”  Tina agreed and the three walked back into the club and outside.

“Have fun guys!”  Alexi said waving bye to the two girls.  She turned around a little bummed that the blonde had left but heard footsteps behind her.  Next thing she knows the blonde was pulling her in for a tight embrace.  Spencer pulled back and looked at Alexi.  “What was that for?” She asked.

“You were great tonight…Alexi.”  Spencer smiled gave a kiss on Alexi’s cheek and ran back toward Tina.
