    The End

    It’s now the day of graduation. Spencer and Ashley are still just friends, they haven’t even talked about that day on the beach. They were in a room in the back of the auditorium putting on their robes and getting ready. Ashley wanted to talk to Spencer about that day at the beach, but she was waiting to do it right after the graduation. The actual graduation was going to be held out side.

    Ashley: “So…you ready to take that big step into the next part of our lives?” she asked excitedly.

    Spencer: “Sure, I guess.” she said morbidly.

    Ashley: “Spence…what’s wrong?”

    Spencer: “Nothing.”

    Ashley: “Spencer, I know when something’s bothering you, so why don’t you just spill it.”

    Spencer: “I guess I may as well tell you now anyway, get it over with.” Ashley looked confused. “I’ve decided on which school I’m going to.”

    Ashley: “And?” she asked impatiently waiting. Spencer exhaled loudly.

    Spencer: “BU school of management…I’m going to Boston.” She said with a sad smile, trying to hide the tears forming in her eyes. Ashley turned pale. A lady walked in.

    Lady: She clapped her hands to get everyone’s attention. “Ok people. We’re lining up in order of last names. So I want people with the last name beginning with A to line up first, then B, and so on.”

    Everyone lined up. There were a lot of people between Spencer and Ashley because a lot of people had a last name beginning with C and D. They walked out side and lined up on the stand. Spencer and Ashley ended up being on different levels, Ashley was on a higher level and Spencer was one level below her.

    The graduation started with an announcer. Then the lights dimmed and a slide show began accompanied by the song "Graduation (Friends Forever)". There were lots of pictures of people goofing off and having fun, people hugging, and a few crying on each others shoulder. One picture stuck out though, a picture of Spencer and Ashley together. They were walking down the hallway, holding hands, Spencers head resting on Ashleys’ shoulder. They didn’t even know a picture was being taken. Spencer looked back at Ashley, and Ashley looked back, their gazes connected. Spencer hesitantly looked away.

    31. so i finally finished up this story and have to say it was friggen awesome. i loved it so much. i was in tears when they weren’t together. there were so many funny goofy moments that only two people who are in love can do without looking like complete asses. awesome job. i look forward to reading your other story!
