I Didn’t Fall For You…Somebody Tripped Me! – (Chapter: Ch. 6 Love Is A Battlefield (Corny? Yes, yes it is.))

"Hey, Ash, since we have no mre classes together I’ll just see you at your house after school, K?"

"Yeah, but hey, do you want a ride?"

    "Ashley, you can’t drive."

"No, but I never said anything about a car." She said while pointing to the motor scooter parked in front of the school.

"Is that seriously your’s? I’ve always wondered who’s that was."

"Well you’re looking at the owner, I have to have someway of getting to and from school while my mom’s at work and Michelle has class. Pretty lame, but oh well."

"It’s not lame, it suits you. Well I’ll see you later, bye Ash."

    "Bye Spencer."

Wait, by that did she mean that I’m lame? Oh, that girl is so getting it.

    Spencer’s POV

It’s the end of the day and Ashley giving me a ride home on her scooter, which, by the way, I think is awesome. It’s hot pink and black checkerboard! So awesome. There she is waiting for me by her scooter, she’s so adorable with her aviator sunglasses, leaning up against her scooter like some kind of rebel.

"Hey Ash." I say, coming up behind her. I mustv’e scared her becuase she fell over backwards, over the scooter and into my arms.

    "AHH!"

"It’s okay, it’s just me, I got you."

"You scared the crap out of me!" She said, while blushing

    "Sorry."

"Well, you ready to get out of here?" She asked, climbing on the scooter handing me a helmet while putting on her’s.

"Yep." I said climbing on, putting my arms around her waist, taking in her scent. Mmm, I should get a ride with Ashley more often. As she started revving off, I realized that I didn’t have a tight enough hold on her so I held on tighter. I was so lost in my on little world that I didn’t even notice that we were at Ashley’s already.

"Okay, I just gotta open the garage to put my scooter away."

"Mmmhmm." Was all I managed to get out.

"Spencer, you have to let me go so I can get off."

"Oh, sorry." I said, while reluctantly letting go of her. She noticed this and I saw her smile a sly grin.

When we got inside, Ashley asked me if I wanted anything. You. I thought to myself.

"I’ll have a water." I said, I needed to cool off from that ride home.

"Comin’ right up. You can head upstairs if you want, I’m getting a quick snack."

    "Sure." I said

When I got up to Ashley’s room, I sat down on her bed and looked around. There were pictures everywhere. Most of them were of Ashley and Alexis acting like dorks as usual. Alexis usually taking up the picture with a funny face, or ruining a serious one by sticking her toungue out.

I laughed thinking about how Alexis could joke around about almost everything. I was so tied up in my thoughts that I didn’t even hear Ashley come in.

    "She’s a dork, isn’t she?"

    "Who?"

    "Alexis."

    "Oh, yeah, she’s really funny."

    "Yeah, I know."

"Is she ever serious about anything?" I laughed pointing at the 8th grade graduation picture, in which she was putting bunny ears on Ashley.

"No, but if she was, she wouldn’t be, she just wouldn’t be Alexis, you know?"

    "Yeah."

"But anyway, let’s go over these lines!"
