I Didn’t Fall For You…Somebody Tripped Me! – (Chapter: Ch. 6 Love Is A Battlefield (Corny? Yes, yes it is.))

    Spencer’s POV

Today I’m going over to Ashley’s after school to work on our lines one last time before dress rehearsal and then finally the play. Dress rehearsals are tomorrow during free period, and the actual play is tomorrow night. I’m so nervous. Not for the actual play, of course, but of telling Ashley how I really feel about her, and possibly setting myself up for a major heartbreak. But I don’t care, I’ve been holding in my feelings for so long. A girl can only keep a secret for so long without going crazy! Well the bell just rang I better get to class. Yay! English, Ashley has English with me! So, I get in the classroom, and there are no seats left! I look around and I spot Ashley pointing to the seat next to her, that had her bookbag on it. She saved me a seat! Aww, she’s so sweet! A few weeks ago, I would have never thought I would be here, sitting next to Ashley Davies! I sat down and I leaned over and huged her. I caught her off guard, I could tell, but she soon hugged me back.

"I still can’t believe that we’re actually friends" She said after she let go of me and I, reluctlantly, lt go as well.

"Me neither." I said, with millions of butterflies in my stomach, and probably a dreamy look on my face.

"So, are you ready for the play tomorrow night?"

"The question is, Ash, Are YOU ready?"

    "What’s that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing! Calm down, I’m just trying to pysche you out!" I said, not wanting to be obvious.

"Oh, sorry, I’m just really nervous about this play."

"Don’t worry you’ll do fine." I said, trying to reassure her

"I hope so." She said before the teacher signaled us to quiet down and get ready for class to start.

    Ashley’s POV

God, I will never get tired of hugging this girl, we fit together perfectly. Though, a kiss or two wouldn’t hurt. Shut up Ashley! Pull it together, girl! I’ve spent this whole English period just staring at Spencer. She caught me a couple of times, but she just smiled and blushed. Oh, the bell just rang, since when did English get so short?
