I Could Never Forget About You – (Chapter: She's um…She's…What?)

    It’s been five days.

    Five days.

That’s all I have to say.

“You look like crap.” I honestly don’t really care.

“Thank you.” I pour the sugar into my coffee, mixing it.

                    “So does she,”

                    “Good.” I chuckle bitterly.

“You don’t mean that.” I look up to meet Aiden’s soft eyes. I send him a glare before I open my mouth.

“Try me.” No emotion plays out on my face. Come to think of it, no emotion has played on my face this whole week.

    I just don’t care anymore.

You’d think I’d be devastated right? Yeah, well that was only Sunday and Monday. The rest of the week, including today I’ve been bitter, oh so bitter.

                    “She’s been calling you.”

“I’m aware.” I answer, hardly even listening to him. I stare at my coffee, watching the milk dissolve as I swirl it.

                    “You haven’t answered.”

“For good reason,” I reply. Why I came, I don’t really know. But I did know sooner or later he was going to bring up the subject of Ashley. Of course I didn’t think it would be this soon.

I mean, he brought her up right when we sat down.  Give a girl time first geez, he’s lucky I’m still here.

“C’mon Spence…I don’t even understand what the hell happened.” He sighs. I tear my eyes away from the coffee to look at him. He looks sad.

“She doesn’t want to get married, end of story.” I tell him before looking around the café.

I’m looking for escape routes, just in case this conversation gets too heavy, which right now seems very, very likely. You’d think by coming here every Thursday I’d know where they are, but nope. I only see the front entrance. I guess that’ll do.

“She told me she said, she doesn’t want to get married yet.” My eyes leave the front door to glare at him.

“She said she didn’t want to go and thrown it all away.” I seethe. If he’s going to want to talk about this, or take sides, he’s going to need to hear both.

    1. It’s understandable that Spencer’s pissed, I probably would be too. But you can only stay mad at the one you love for so long until you finally come around. Hopefully Ashley has a good explanation. Great update. pms

    2. Hi! I’ve had just had the pleasure of reading your story. It’s taken hours…how many I couldn’t tell you, I’ve been that absorbed. So start to finish…what can I say? Well right now I’m all tense from the drama…honestly these two are real drama queens but I can’t help but love them both *sigh* we all know the best Spashley comes with angst! Hmmmm, I really do think Spencer needs to give Ashley a chance to explain…god knows what’s happened in 4 years..right? Oh and can I just ask what’s with Madison? I love the character but…hmm…not sure but she seems a little too taken with Spashley to be 100% straight? Could just be me but….?? I will be reading the next update as soon as it’s posted and you’ve def gained a new fan!!
