How To Break A Heart – (Chapter: Step One)

This Is How A Heart Breaks

    Step One

“You know it’s the first day of summer. We really ought to be spending it outside.” Spencer spoke from the edge of her bed down to Ashley who was sitting cross-legged on the floor reading a magazine.

“Oh, but I can think of so many more fun things that we could do inside.” The brunette spoke suggestively, waggling her eyebrows at the girl.

“And who is to say those activities can’t be done outdoors?” Spencer countered, grinning as she rose from the bed, shrugging her shoulders carelessly as she gave a flirty glance over her shoulder.

“Gosh Spence, who knew you were so kinky.” Ashley smiled devilishly, unable to deny that the specific images Spencer’s comment had conjured in her mind were obscenely appealing.

“I’m just saying that if a certain brunette were to join me outdoors I may or may not be tempted to jump her hypothetical bones.” Spencer spoke, waving a hand dismissively, “But since you’re obviously not interested…”

Spencer let the comment drop as she exited the room and headed towards the backyard, mentally ticking down the seconds till she knew Ashley would appear. And of course she did, and with a large enthusiastic smile on her face to boot, “You know, I had a change of heart. I just love the outdoors.”

“I’m sure.” Spencer replied, smiling knowingly as she grabbed Ashley’s hand and led the girl towards a nice shaded patch of grass.

“I love the way you think.” The brunette commented, eyes dancing as she sat down on the soft green lawn.

Spencer sat down beside her, her lips pulled back into what appeared to be an endless smile. Her hand rested on Ashley’s bare knee, and for a moment she entertained herself by just tracing small circles on its tan surface. Ashley watched the girls face, fascinated by her features. But, eventually those small little circles began traveling upwards, and the warm feeling in her chest was transferred to other locations.

“Is this the part where you jump my bones, because I was kind of looking forward to that.” Ashley spoke with a sheepish grin, and Spencer shifted her gaze into those brown eyes.

“Yeah, that sounds about right.” Spencer spoke; looking wonderfully wicked as she moved on top of the girl. Their lips crashed together, and Spencer dominated the kiss, her tongue exploring the familiar landscape of Ashley’s mouth.

    1. I would like to think that if that ever happened to me I would be able to find the extra strength that Paula had to do everything to stop it. Scream and yell while being put on the bus, hell I’d try to smash windows just so they wouldn’t take me. How a mother can do that to their own child is beyond me, one of the major things presented in the bible is choice, we all have choice and how dare anyone come in and tell you who you should and shouldn’t love. People like Paula in this story should really start to think about what it is they are preaching and what it is they are doing because I think if they thought about it long enough they would realise they are two entirely different things! Ok now that I’ve had my little rant I’d like to say what a great writter you are – love the story (not because of the subject matter but the way you present it) the scary thing is that these places exist! Please pms I’d love to see where you take this.
