I laugh, “He’s pretty banged up huh?”

“Yeah, and I can’t move him over for the life of me, he’s such a fat ass”

“Of course you can sleep in here, we haven’t had a sleepover in a while!” I reply jumping into bed

She gets in the bed on the other side, “I actually wanted to talk to you, so I’m glad you’re here”

“What’s up?” she asks

“Can you tell me everything?”

She gives me a confused look then realizes what I’m talking about

“About Ashley?” she asks

I nod my head.

“Just tell me everything that I neglected to hear, what has she been doing the past months, why doesn’t Blake go to Northeastern anymore…just everything you know”

“You’re sure?” She asks

I nod my head again and get comfortable, as does she.

“Alright well…”

And she told me everything, more than I bargained for. It hurt to listen to some of the things. But I’m sure that you guys don’t want to hear all the details of her fucked up life. Who am I kidding of course you do.

“Well on the flight home Ashley wouldn’t talk to anyone, she didn’t open her mouth once Blake said, she’s never seen her sister so silent. And I guess no one knew what had happened between you guys the night before.”

“She didn’t tell Blake?” I ask curiously

“No, Blake called me later that night, when we were at dinner actually”

“Right, when you left for like a half hour” I remember being pissed that she was being so sketchy

“Yes, you had told me what happened so I told Blake” she continues “Pretty much Ashley just went into a depression, she started to drink again, blacking out, not knowing where she was the night before or how she got home, she started to hang out with her old friends again”

I sighed and shook my head, it was hard enough to learn about her past the first time, maybe I wasn’t ready to find all of this out for a second time.

“Blake tried to take care of her as best as she could, covering for her when her parents asked what was wrong…but she had to leave for school eventually. She would call me upset a lot, not knowing what she should do”
