Haunting in Ohio – (Chapter: Allebasi Irotavlas)

He said finally stifling his chuckles.

Spencer: Which is why she won’t find out.

    I said.

Paula: Who won’t find out what?

My eyes went wide and my mom hung her jacket on the rack by the door and made her way into the living room. I plastered on a smile.

Spencer: Oh nothing…mom what are you doing home so early?…super early.

I asked placing the phone back on the cradle. My mom then spoke up.

Paula: Well Jackie needed an extra shift and I was willing so we traded and I got to come home early.

She said rather cheerfully and I smiled.

Paula: so what are you two up to huh?

    She asked.

    Spencer/ Glen: Nothing.

We said in unison which was so not convincing at all. My mom narrowed her eyes at us.

Paula: whatever you two are trying to hide just know…I always find out.

I gulped. I then laughed nervously.

Spencer: Mom…there’s nothing to find out.

I said playfully and she made that yea right face.

Paula: Yea well dinner will be in an hour.

She said making her way up the steps. I then turned to Glen.

    Spencer: Not a word.

    I said and he laughed.

    Glen: Whatever you say.

He said going back upstairs. I let out a loud breath feeling utterly tired. I mean ghost encounters, detention and hiding said detention from your mother can really take a lot out of a girl. I thought as I grabbed my book bag that I had dropped by the door and headed up stairs to do my home work. I only had a worksheet to do for psychology which would probably be pretty easy. I made it into my room, threw myself on my bed, and poured out the contents of my bag. I sat Indian style as I rifled through my folder to find the damn work sheet. I finally did and read over it, realizing that I needed the book to do it which was in my locker at school.

Spencer: Well looks like its hello library in the morning.

I said to myself as I put the rest of my stuff back in my back pack and threw it on the floor beside my bed. The words  Allebasi Irotavlas kept popping into my head and it was bugging the shit out of me that I couldn’t figure out what it meant. I then got a really good idea. I hurriedly rose from my spot on my bed and grabbed my laptop. I then resumed my position and clicked open the internet. Maybe there’s something on here that can help me figure out what it means. I thought as I typed the words into Google search. I  looked through each of the links finding nothing relating to my situation of a dead girl trying to get help. I spent an hour looking through a thousand different search engines trying to find out what Allebasi Irotavlas meant and I got nothing. Nada. Zilch. Just as I clicked out of another failed attempt link my mom called me down for dinner. I closed my laptop and made my way down stairs, the smell of tacos filling my nose and making my mouth water. I love taco Tuesdays. I thought as I took a seat at the already set table.
