Haunting in Ohio – (Chapter: Allebasi Irotavlas)

Spencer: You could have come and picked me up when I texted you ya jerk!!

I yelled and he shrugged. That made me boil.

Spencer: God you’re such an ass…get out of my room…and the cars mine tomorrow.

I said matter-of-factly and he scoffed beginning to exit my room.

    Spencer: I’m not playing Glen!

I yelled at his retreating back. My nails were finally dry and I examined my work. They were exceptional so I got up and made my way down stairs to get something to drink. It was still impossibly hot for being 6:30 in the evening. I made it in to the kitchen and pulled the refrigerator open, basking in the refreshing coolness that exuded from it. I then grabbed a cold bottle of tea and closed the refrigerator. Right as I did the home phone rang, startling me. I made my way to the receiver and picked it up.

    Spencer: Hello

I said in to the phone. It was the school calling to speak to my mom. My eyes went wide. What school still made personal house calls? I thought. I then spoke up and as I did Glen came into view. He was about to call out to me but I shushed him.

Spencer: Uh yes my mother is here…let me go get her.

I said. Glen looked at me in pure confusion and amusement. I covered the mouth piece of the phone with my hand and cleared my throat.

Spencer: Hello, this is Paula Carlin.

Glen silently laughed at my antics as I tried to sound believably like my mother. Mrs. Higglehorn ranted on about my detention and how as a new student I should set a respectable reputation for myself and be an example to others. I mean really?

Spencer: Well Mrs. Higglehorn ill be sure to have a stern talking with her and make sure she understands the repercussions of her actions.

I said trying to sound like a parent without bursting into a fit of laughter. Mrs. Higglehorn agreed.

    Spencer: Alright thank you…bye.

I said and then hung up on her. I couldn’t hold the laughter anymore and joined in with glen and his laughter. Glen spoke up.

Glen: If mom founds out your ass is grass.
