    Haunted Mansion

A book suddenly falls off the shelf it was resting on. Everyone turns to look at it.  “Who’s messing with the books, we just got here and you all are touching things already.”

“But Spencer we were all standing over here with you when that book fell,” Madison said in defense.

“Yeah well someone must have touched it on the way over here.  Come on lets get these sleeping bags situated,” Spencer snapped.

    THUMP! THUMP!

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!” Madison yelps.

“It came from upstairs.  Why don’t you guys go and see what that noise was,” Madison commanded her stare directed at the men in the room.

“Okay, come on Aiden, Clay, Sean,” Glen called, “let’s go see what that noise was so our women don’t get frighten.”

“Whose women, Glen you’re the only one here with a girlfriend.  The rest of us are single,” Aiden said.

“Clay’s not single, he’s dating Chelsea.  Anyway, come on Aiden, Clay we’re wasting time, lets go see.”

“Umm, I think I’ll stay down here and watch after the women,” Aiden said.  Sean and Glen looked at each other than back at Aiden.

“Dude, you are such a wuss.  What about you Clay?”

“I’m with Aiden, we shouldn’t leave the girls completely alone.”

“Man! Come on Sean.”  The two men went upstairs to see what the noise was.

Twenty minutes had passed and Sean and Glen had not returned.  “What’s taking Sean and Glen so long to come back down?” Aiden asked.

“Well… we don’t know,” Ashley sarcastically said, a little annoyed with him.  “You should have been a man and went with them.  Maybe they might have needed your help. Why don’t you go find them.”

“No way not me, I was just wondering what was taking them so long.” Ashley rolled her eyes at Aiden, what a wimp.

“Come on guys we need to finish laying our sleeping bags out so they can be ready when we do go to sleep.  The scavenger hunt will probably take most of the night so we need to figure out some sort of strategy with finding the hidden items.  I’m going to assign which piece everyone should look for,” Spencer said.

“Well who made you boss missy,” Madison whined.
