    Uh-oh spaghettio’s…

    “Early morning, I think. I don’t have any classes so I’ll be able to pick her up.”

    “I’ll call a limo for you. I don’t want you taking a taxi all the way to Westchester. Besides, your mom will probably want to lie down.” She could be so sweet and thoughtful. I kissed her again in acknowledgment of that.

    “Thanks.”

    “No problem.”

    “Um, so, I think I’m going to stay in the hotel with her.”

    “Isn’t Ben coming?”

    “Yeah, but I was going to get a separate room. I’ll pay for it of course; I just want to be there when she starts treatment and everything.”

    “Spence, don’t worry, I’ll take care of it,” Ash assured me. “Do you want me to come?”

    “Could you? I’m… I’m really scared… I mean, I know this is only going to help but… it’s… it’s my mom and-“

    “I’ll be there,” she promised. “I’ll see if I can leave a little early on Friday, maybe take everyone out for dinner.” I smiled, unable to convey my gratitude through words. “When is she supposed to actually start the treatment?”

    “Saturday morning, I think.” Our conversation was interrupted by the doorbell. Ash got up and pulled a hooded sweatshirt over her beater to shield her identity. A minute later, she returned with a box of pizza and a couple bottles of water.

    “Dinner is served, my love,” she declared with a grin.

    “Aw, dinner in bed? You shouldn’t have!” I joked.

    “I know, I know. But I did, so eat up!” I did as such, realizing how hungry I was as I plowed through 2 slices of pizza and a bottle of water. But the latter was catching up to me and I excused myself to go to the bathroom. While I was in there, Ash addressed me.

    “Spence, you got a text message,” she yelled from the bedroom.

    “Who’s it from?”

    “Your cousin,” she replied. My cousin? Well, it must be Lucy, the only cousin I’ve still been talking to since Ashley and I came out to the public last year. It wasn’t really a coincidence that she’s also the only cousin I have on my dad’s side.

    “What does it say?” I inquired. She didn’t respond and I wondered whether she’d heard me. I finished up in the bathroom and went back to her room. She had an expression on her face I couldn’t quite distinguish.

    17. Oh, by the way, i’m not sure it’s the drama that causes the rating to drop. I get the feeling someone just runs through and throws a few one stars in on everyone’s because if you lurk (ok, ok, i lurk), you sometimes see a whole run of people’s stories go down a star. I guess someone just thinks it’s funny. Your stories are 5 star anyway and that may be a burden you have to live with.

I just hope that they will be okay and Ashley will forgive her and you are correct, MAKE-UP SEX is sooo hot and sexy and GREAT!!!!!
