Firestorm 2007 – (Chapter: Part Two of Two)
“The fire’s nowhere near there anymore. We can sneak in, I know a few back roads…” Spencer paused, her eyes clouding slightly as she looked down, “I just really need to see it. It’s important.”
Ashley was a bit surprised by the girl’s new found rebellious streak, and she couldn’t help but be tempted by the opportunity to get into a little trouble. Besides, at this point she was beginning to wonder what she wouldn’t do for Spencer, “Alright, fine.”
“So you’ll do it?” Spencer spoke eagerly, her features brightening somewhat as she placed a few strands of hair behind her ear.
“For you? Anything.” She responded, smiling a bit as she sat up and stretched her arms out, “Now go get changed into some good sneaking clothes, and I’ll do the same. Then meet me at my car in 10 minutes, okay?”
Spencer nodded, moving aside so Ashley could squeeze past her and exit the trailer. She watched the girl stroll down the aisle before changing into a pair of jeans, converse, and a T-shirt. She was dreading having to see the ruins of her home, but at the same time she needed to be there. By the time she’d pulled her hair back into a ponytail, brushed her teeth, and had a bite to eat for breakfast, it had already been 10 minutes. She rushed out the door, making up a quick excuse to her parents before she hurried over to Ashley’s slick Mercedes.
“Hey, perfect timing.” Ashley greeted, trying to seem as optimistic as possible as she climbed into the drivers seat.
“Thanks again for doing this Ashley.” Spencer repeated while buckling her seatbelt, feeling a bit guilty for imposing on her. Ashley just shrugged, smiling over at her with those perfect teeth of hers.
“It’s no problem. Trespassing is one of my favorite crimes anyways.” She spoke, her grin widening when she earned a small chuckle from Spencer. For having just lost her house, the girl seemed to be in pretty good spirits. Ashley hoped she had something to do with that.
The two set out on their little adventure, hoping to get as far as they could with the car before they’d have to set out on foot. Every blind corner they’d go around Spencer would get out of the car and check for a roadblock, and if there were one they’d turn around and find another route. They were able to penetrate to about 2 miles away from her house before they had to park the car. They continued in, hopping over fences and tromping through people’s backyards, confident they wouldn’t be caught.

you should continue it…please, what happened to them, where are they living now stuff like that…pms hopefully that shower scene was one of the best.
I’m hoping you will continue this amazing and incredibly poignant story that has captured my attention and stolen away my heart. Let’s just say, I would certainly like to see what happens next with Spencer and Ashley, plus where are the Carlin’s going to live and their struggles of rebuilding a new life. I loved this story…PMS
