Spencer swung the silver boxster into her parents drive, seeing the Aston Martin parked a little further up she rolled her eyes, her parents had neglected to tell her that Glen was going to be here tonight. She walked up to the door and walked in silently frowning as she heard laughter emanating from the lounge.

As she entered the room she smiled her greetings to her mother and father who instantly stood and pulled her into hugs. Spencer and Paula had come a long way since Spencer’s coming out. Paula now not only accepted Spencer’s ‘way of life’ but accepted and loved Ashley.

“Hey little sis” Glen smiled warmly pulling Spencer into a tight cuddle.

“Hey Glen, nice car” Spencer smiled, although she and Ashley had more money than Glen, Glen felt the need to splash out and buy the most expensive version of everything, mainly cars and women.

“Yeah thanks, I was looking at it for ages the figured how many guys drive around in James Bonds car?” He smirked proudly and Spencer couldn’t help but giggle affectionately.

Glen glanced around for a few moments “I don’t like it!”

“You don’t like what?” Paula said, staring at the walls looking for some sort of answer.

“There was no sarcastic reply, where’s ash?” Glen smiled affectionately at Spencer who looked glum when she sighed the word ‘London’.

Glen pulled her into another hug. “Spence, you remember Madison right?” He smiled when he noticed Spencer’s head snap up.

“Madison, hey” Spencer put a smile on her face which didn’t quite meet her eyes.

“Yeah, we met up a couple of weeks ago and things hit it off again” Glen smiled happily.

“That’s…. great” Spencer fumbled but secretly thought the complete opposite, gone were the days of quiet peaceful family dinners and outings, now it would be Spencer holding Ashley back and glen holding Madison back.

“Hey Spence, I’m sorry about how I acted back at school, I was young and stupid” She smiled and Spencer looked at her for a few moments, deliberating as to whether she could trust her or not.

“You see I was scared and a little jealous, I had been friends with Ashley for years and then you came in and you were all BFF and I was just… well you know no hard feelings?” Again she smiled sweetly.
