    This is a new story I’m working on, it’s told from a completely new perspective. Give it a try and if you hate it, feel free to tell me.

                    “How are you Rach?”

                    “I’m good, you look exhausted Spence.”

                    “I am,” She answered simply, but didn’t elaborate. “I read your last article…” and so the conversation continued with light easy topics and I wondered briefly what was going on. I could tell that something major was about to happen, but I wasn’t sure what.

                   

                    When Arthur finally got dinner on the table Melena and Amber were napping upstairs and the rest of us were piled around the loaded down dining room table. The tension between Aiden and Spencer was unmistakable; they could barely speak to each other without letting out a snipping word. In result the rest of the table tried to fill the awkwardness with conversation. Everyone went around sharing the latest going ons in their life and talking easily about the children.

                    “What about you Aiden? What’s new?” Paula asked her son in law. Spencer froze from where she was about to take a bite of potatoes and turned to glare at her husband as if in warning.

                    “I’m apparently not at liberty to say.” He answered, making the anger in Spencer’s eyes increase. Arthur, who had apparently been oblivious to their tension up until now, scrunched his eyebrows.

                    “Whatever do you mean son?”

                    “Spencer has asked me not to tell our news.” The table was dead silent. Art was even listening.

                    “Aiden…” Spencer said in a warning tone.

                    “But I don’t see why it’s such a big deal,” he continued, right over her. “I mean, why shouldn’t she want to share with her family that she’s pregnant?” At these words several things happened at once. Everyone at the table turned to Spencer, surprise and glee lacing our words of congratulations. Aiden smiled and thanked us but Spencer stood up so fast that her chair hit the floor. The hard crack it made against the wood floors made us all flinch and watch as she walked away. Aiden cursed under his breath and stood up as well, following her up the stairs.

                    “I’m confused.” Glen said, after a few moments of silence. The rest of us silently agreed even as we heard the couple do what they did best from the bathroom upstairs; fight.

I’m very interested in where this could go. an outside perspective is a nice change-up and could lead to a lot of possibilities I’d think. hope you continue because I’d like to know about why spence is upset over being pregnant, and all about the deep dark secret which of course I think has to do with spence and ash dating or something to that effect, but hey you could come completely out of left field and shock the hell outta me! anyway, great job so far, please continue!

    3. Alright, so I’m just gonna throw this out there; maybe the person who is pregnant is actually Ashley and not Spencer? haha I dunno, I just get a weird feeling that things are not what they seem! Great story, Im anxious fo the next update!!

A few notes….An emmy is for TV… Grammy is for musicChelsea had taken the baby so spencer wouldn’t have it stillSome comments…They don’t tell rachel what’s going on bc she’s a reporter and may not be able to resist a storySpences pregnancy wasn’t intentional.Ashley is not happy about the pregnancySpence and ashley had a thing in high schooland that’s all I got….Please PMS

    6. yes! definitely continue please! if something happened between spencer and ashley in high school, they must’ve resolved it somehow for the 3 of them to want to still be so close after aiden and spencer getting married. so that means the marriage couldn’t have been a cover for a relationship between spencer and ashley. unless, spencer and aiden accidentally slept together, and that’s why ashley is no-showing at dinner. but if it was an agreement- aiden wouldn’t have thrown spencer under the bus by announcing it. i don’t think i’m even making sense. i have no idea what’s going on- but that’s why you have to tell me :)
