Everything Changes After Spending 7 Months Apart – (Chapter: At That Moment You May Laugh But There Will be someone there who will be laughing louder than you.)

You got it, you got it bad…

    I answer “Hey you”

    “Hey” Ashley says.

I take my phone to my bedroom and lay on my fluffy mattress. Ashley begins telling me all about this guy she is interested in. She knew him from back in her days of living in California and he was one of the guys she never let go of. I briefly wonder about Sean. They haven’t broken up. The kid is sweet, so I do feel a little bad for him. Granted, I’m the one sleeping with his girlfriend. Why don’t I feel bad about that?

“I mean,” Ashley goes on explaining. “The only person aside from you that I even want to be with is Ethan.”

She wants to be with me. I begin giggling uncontrollably. Then I begin blushing because I sound like an absolute dork.

“I thought that might make you giggle.” She says easily.

“Ah, you caught me off guard with that one.” I pause as I take my breath. “You have to give me a head warning or else I just giggle like a retard.”

“Awe, but I like it when you giggle.” I love this side of us, the side that flirts so easily. It’s more often than not, but still just not that often. Which is a good thing because it makes it worth that much more happiness.

“I have a random bruise and I have no idea where it came from.” She states randomly.

I give a slight hint that she isn’t the only one. “Hey, at least it’s not in as awkward of a place as my most recent bruise.”

“How did you get a bruise?” Ashley asks only a second before concern graces her tone. “Oh no, did I hurt you? I’m sorry baby!”

“It’s okay,” I announce, “It was fun while I got it.”

I begin taking a sip of my tea as she begins her next statement. “I can kiss it better!”

I begin coughing violently as the tea goes down the wrong way. Finally I catch my breath again, “Did I mention that it was in an awkward place?”

“Yeah, like I said, I’ll kiss it better!” I get a smile on my face at the thought.

“You know, I have to admit: being woken up by a chick in a towel kissing me was amazing.” I say easily.
