Everything Changes After Spending 7 Months Apart – (Chapter: At That Moment You May Laugh But There Will be someone there who will be laughing louder than you.)

She tells me of how she is incapable of ever letting anyone go. For once, I look at that as a positive thing. Because one day, if ever she gets scared and wants to run, I know that I can let her go and she will come back. If it were anyone but her, it would be obnoxious as hell to have someone that I knew would never quit tailing me for my entire life. But it is her, and I couldn’t be happier with that realization. It gives me a sense of security to know that, ten years from now she will be by my side. Whether we are at each others’ side as lovers or friends, I will have a smile all the way.

The love will never leave me, I know that. The love is what complicates it the most. It is one of those things that no matter what the circumstances are, it is always there in the back of your mind or pulling at the strings of your heart. I will never be able to let her go. During our seven month split, I tried so desperately to let her go, thinking that would make it easier. I tried so hard that it wore me out and yet I still failed at it.

For once in my nineteen years of life, I know what it is to love someone with such intensity and have that same feeling returned. I can sit at a table in Starbucks and pick out at least five flaws in every person’s appearance. But when it comes to Ashley, there isn’t one thing I would change. There isn’t one thing about her that I find unattractive. She can show up in sweat pants, a jacket with her hair a mess and no makeup on and she is still the most beautiful person in the entire world.

If I had a digestive system, I would be puking.

You just had to ruin my wonderful thoughts, didn’t you? I know that I am a pathetic puddle of romantic sap, but that’s just part of me.

Puddle of romantic sap? You just described yourself as a puddle of jizz, how do you feel?

Like I really should be on medication to get rid of you…
