Spencer approaches the stage, so I set my guitar down gently to quickly make my way over to the blonde. I then hop off the stage to stand in front of her.

I wrap my left arm around her neck, pulling her close, and she places her hands on my hips. Resting my forehead against Spencer’s, I bring the mic up to my lips and sing my song to her. We sway to the rhythm of my words as the people around us back away, enclosing us in a tight circle.

I finish the song and the crowd goes insane with applause. But honestly, it was as if they didn’t exist at the moment, and it was just me and Spencer in our own little world. We both had huge smiles planted on our faces and before I even realized it, Spencer had taken the microphone from my hands and was dragging me back on to the stage.

Spencer: Hey everyone, I have a confession to make!

Spencer yelled into the microphone, clearly out of her mind.

Ashley: Spencer what are you doing?

I was so confused, but the look she gave me assured me that she was really determined to speak whatever it was on her mind.

Spencer: There’s been something I’ve been dying to say to you Ash, and I just hope declaring this in front of hundreds of people just reinforces the truth behind it. I love you Ashley, I have since the day I met you, and will continue to for the rest of my life, if you’ll let me.

My mouth dropped along with Spencer as she got down on one knee. All the stage lights made their way on her and the giant warehouse became completely silent.

Spencer: Ashley Davies, make me the happiest girl in the world. Marry me?
