She looked beautiful in that position. The way her button up pajama shirt hung slightly open and her pants were low enough to seen her perfect hips. I could just stay like that forever.

“Secret agent man, secret agent man” her cell phone began to ring.

“Ugh, it’s my boss” She said sliding out from under me and grabbing her phone. “Hello?” She answered. “Yeah, yeah, crap I have plans for today….Yes it has to. Yeah I understand. Okay bye.”

I looked at her unsure of what she was talking about. I knew she was a journalist for a local newspaper, but I had no idea her boss had her working on call.

“Wow Ash, I am so sorry. I have to run to the office for an hour to shoot some notes past my editor. Will you and Kyla be okay just hanging out here until I get back?” She asked me while taking off her shirt and scurrying to her room. She came back out putting shoes on while walking. Her hair was a mess and her outfit was far from cute, but she was in a rush.

“We’ll be fine” I said.

“You sure?” She asked for reassurance.             

“Yeah, you go do reporting stuff. We’ll go shopping afterwards.” I said. In all honesty I didn’t like the idea of her being able to be taken away from me at any second. But for the moment I was okay with it.

She left the apartment and I had at least forty-five minutes until Kyla showed up so I decided to get ready. I grabbed some clothes out of my drawers and a towel then got in the shower. I washed away the stench of the previous night and walked into Spencer’s room to change. I was certain she wouldn’t mind. I just didn’t like the idea of being in the living room to change considering it was open to the world. I put on my red plaid Capri’s with a black leather belt. Above it I wore a plain black tank top which matched my converse perfectly. Then I went back into the bathroom and turned on the blow dryer. I liked it when my hair was set in perfect curls. Once my hair was done perfectly, I put on a silver necklace that a silver key hung off of. Then I went to clean up my mess in Spencer’s room. I still had about twenty minutes before Kyla showed up.
