Chelsea snaps me out of my thoughts when she asks, “See something you like Spencer?”

I glare at her and don’t respond. I just keep watching. When Michelle got up to go who knows where she finally started scanning the club and that’s when she saw me. We locked eyes for I don’t know how long. But we couldn’t look away. I could still see the pain in those gorgeous chocolate eyes of hers. I could see it. I could feel it. God, this is so hard. I wish I had never hurt her like I did. I wish I hadn’t. I want her back. I need her.

We finally break eye contact because Michelle goes back to her. Ugh!!! I see her hand her, her drink and they start talking now. Although every now and then she would sneak a peek at me. That made me feel a little better. I’m completely ignoring Aiden and Chelsea. They’ve tried to get my attention a couple of times but they’ve given up on it. I just ignored them. At some point I hear them saying they are going to go dance and I just wave them off. I guess I’m not going to be as much fun as they thought I would be.

“Hey would you like to dance?” This short brunette asks smiling

I can’t help some habits. I give her a quick once over. Cute. Thin, a little shorter than me, long straight hair with bangs, she was wearing a short black skirt with a dark green halter. I was about to open my mouth to say no thanks when I got a glimpse of Ashley. She was watching. I could see her eyes. I could see a flash of jealousy go through them. Interesting. Very interesting. Let me try something and see how she reacts.

“Sure. I’m Spencer.” I say as I get up

“Carmen, nice to meet you.” Carmen smiles as she grabs my hand and leads me to the dance floor

We start dancing. The music is good. That’s why I love coming here. The music is always good. She’s pretty good. We are pretty in sync with our movements. We’re not touching but standing pretty close. As the second dance starts she pulls me by the hips and pulls me into her. I rest my hands on her shoulders and begin moving with her. We are slowly grinding into each other. At some point I look up and see Ashley. She’s on the dance floor too. She’s dancing with Michelle. I immediately tense up. Ashley has Michelle by the hips. They’re also grinding into each other. We just stare into each others eyes the entire time. Daring each other to take it further. Ugh!! All I want to do is leave Carmen standing there and go grab her. Damn it she’s mine. Just my damn luck I’m stupid.
