    It’s decision time for Ashley, is tonight the night?

    ‘Sit,’ she commanded in a low voice and I didn’t hesitate.

    I sat and she took a couple of paces back then smiled.

    ‘I love you,’ I blurted out, it somehow seemed the right thing to say.
